Having whole summer to be focused and tutored can't hurt him... he'll be fine next season.

i don't know who "you guys" are... but fuck Lucas. I'm with you man. His "influence" on TJ leaves lots to be desired.

agreed, i dont think we want lucas making Bargs any more of a 'me first' type of player than he already is, plus having a former guard teach our 7 footer more guard type instincts kinda defeats the purpose doesnt it?

No that was Raptor123 and having to play back up without Bosh in the lineup. Dont' beleive the hype. Lucas is a proven tutor and great basketball mind.

The point about him being the right guy based on position to help Andrea is definitely disputable though.

If Bargs is to be a centre, he needs to attend a big men camp, not work out with the point guard coach.

I'm pretty sure Lucas has successfully worked with big men in the past, but I thought he was going to Pete Newell's camp.

I always thought that Lucas was a drug and alcohol rehab conselor. What ever, I hope we never signed him for too much money. Will he be packaged we TJ when we trade his ass out of here in the summer.

I think he does it all. I know he's helped Kobe and Lebron work on their games too.

He kind of bugs me.

I think he's just what the Doctor ordered.
And, to stay consistant with what I have always said, I think it's pure comedy when message board guys know better than an entire franchise of Basketball professionals, just what needs to be done.

I say the same thing but the answer i always get is 'thats what messageboards are for'.

As Vince Carter once said ... whatever.

I suppose we all have the right to an opinion but like you mentioned, none of us are qualified or enough in the know to really make a good one so it's really best to either trust in the people we have in place making those decisions or follow another team until you do

I mean I yell at the telelvision.

but i KNOW I'd be in awe of Mitchells over all Basketball IQ if I were actually there.

And I know my shit.

But me knowing, and an NBA professional knowing aint even the same sport.

It just goes to show just how much it takes to make a championship team. Having the right guy at the top, the right amount of money to spend and spending it effectively, knowledge, experience, mix of talent, luck... it's crazy hard.

I sat three rows behind the bench last year.

The most often repeated phrase by Mitchell was...

"TJ! Just run the fuckin' play."
