Question End Of The Line For Either Jack or Leo?

Well, it would appear that the Raptors are dropping one of those 2 TV analysts for next, so get on your horses and fill out the petition to the MLSE to keep Jack.

With Sportsnet dropping the ball on basketball, one fewer network provider likely means there will be one fewer analyst for next season.

The contracts for Rautins, who has been associated with the Raptors since their inception, expires once Toronto's post-season run ends.

Armstrong joined the team during the NBA lockout in 1998 and has endeared himself from the moment he appeared on Toronto's sporting scene. His contract with Sportsnet soon will end.

Both Rautins and Armstrong are great guys whose delivery is different, yet effective.

It's sad to think that one is likely not to return next year, but it also was sad when Toronto native John Saunders was told he no longer was wanted.

I've already said it, but Jack is an American who still lives in the States. They want Canadians through and through, which is why Saunders was dismissed. Also, why do you think Chuck became a Canadian citizen and makes this his off season home too.

I wrote to MSLE and asked them to get Jack to do all games with Chuck... I pointed that Leo needs time to work with Canadian National Team...

"We'd like to have Jack involved in some capacity," says Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment executive vice-president Tom Anselmi. "We haven't ruled out anything."

To expedite things, Armstrong has hired Gord Kirke as his agent. Considering that Kirke knows his way around MLSE, especially now that he's charged with finding the next Maple Leafs GM, he made a pretty good choice.
Nice!

At least there would be one thing to look forward too next season. More Jack and less to possibly no more Leo.
