With just three days remaining until the NBA draft, the Raptors spent the weekend looking at a mix of unsigned NBA castoffs, international players and development league veterans.

While there didn't appear to be a Jamario Moon -- who made the team through the same workout process last season -- in this year's mix, a few players (former New jersey Nets' Hassan Adams and Dakota Wizards D-League centre Rod Benson -- opened eyes and could wind up getting a further look down the road. Those decisions won't be made until the Raptors determine what they can get with their 17th pick in the draft.

Hassan Adams is an interesting cat. He might never crack the rotation but he's the kind of cheap player the Raptors might need to look to for depth should they do a few two for one trades.

Rod Benson would be a real nice addition considering the price tag. He's a beast on the boards, and if we move Rasho our frontcourt depth will be a weakness. Plus I think it would be hard to contain the Boom Tho Movement north of the border. If Torontonians liked Matt Bonner, they'll love Benson.

John Lucas III could get a look as well. Point guard depth is an issue.

convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

I've never seen Benson play and won't pretend that I have either.

I like Adams myself. Always have ever since his Arizona days and just think he's been dealt a bad hand. Being undersized doesn't help, but he's worth some serious consideration in my opinion.
