By the end of the 2012-2013 season...

Which players that are currently on the roster will still be playing for Toronto?

How deep into the playoffs will we have gone or will we even get there at all?

Lastly, how many first round picks will we have made? And what's the highest lottery pick we will make?

We will get to first round during 12-13 season. Nowhere near playoffs before that.

4. And we win the lottery this year after being 5th worst team in the league.

Those are all facts. You want to know anything else?

DD he is a solid 25/5 SG. 1st AllStar selection in the 2013 AllStar Game in T.O
Ed Davis, is a 15/11 guy and one of the best defensive big in the league.
Bayless is a 18/7 selfish PG
Bargs is a 28/8 guy. 2 times All Star.
Amir, the 6th men of the 2011-2012 season.

We make the PO in 2013, 7th seat, first round lose against Chicago. After 2 lottery picks.

How could we possibly have those numbers for our starters and only be a 7th seed? The Spurs are blowing away the league and they don't even have that... With almost 90 points coming from four guys alone on average we would easily be a top 3 seed, maybe even 1st...

That is unless the give up double that per game on the other end.

My revision-

DD- 16-4-3
Ed Davis- 12-9
Bayless- 14-7
Barg- 20-6
I think thats a bit more realistic.

I assume androids will be playing by then. And we'll only need one.

Nexus-6 - 200 PPG, 70+ Boards, and even playing alone, it will manage 30+ Assists.

This will be the time to spend spend spend and push for a championship, seeing as the Nexus-6 has just a four year life span.

jeffb 01-26-2011 11:35 AM

Players still here:

Bayless- 11/5
Derozan- 18/5
Bargnani- 21/6
Davis- 11/10
Amir- 9/8

And i have my doubts on wether Bargnani will be here in two years believe it or not. I say Colangelo is not as in love with him and will be frustrated with him if he doesn't improve his intensity and Defense.

Bargs, below star level C, Ajinca
Davis, Amir
star SF, Kleiza/Wright
DeRozan, Weems
star PG, Bayless

Don Vito 01-29-2011 11:50 AM

DeRozan, Davis, Amir, Bayless, Barbosa. That is pretty much the building block for the team, anyone else is worthless. We need a center and SF to get this team on track. Kleiza/Bargnani isn't cutting it.

On the one hand, we need to keep a young core together and let them grow. On the other hand, my dream of having an individual billionaire owner who is willing to pay a salary tax instead of pocketing 25 million in profit doesn't seem about to happen. So they are going ot have to pay for even their own star players at some point to keep them together....or become a second tier contender like Atlanta for a few years.

So if there is going to be a star SF and a star PG in here, along with Paying Derozan, Davis, Bargs and a decent cast of 2nd unit guys, you are probably looking at the Kleiazas and Ajincas coming off the bench.

This is not going to be like Boston sending out monsters and conundrums from their second unit because we won't pay 90 million like they do. Boston's second unit could play the whole game and stil kick our ass without sweating too hard.

Raptor-Colts 01-29-2011 01:57 PM

How is barbosa the building block for this team. He is 29 and has one year left on his contract. he will be gone by then. Only people i see are Bayless, Amir, DD, Bargs and Ed davis. Thats it. Maybe Sonny weems if he takes his head out of his ass and gets healthy. other than that, our bench is very interchangeable.
