I guess...I just always feel crappy when he has the ball, he just makes hings look hard. I like his effort thogh, you can't argue his effort.... but 4-5 million...ugh.

Up until the last couple of games I haven't been impressed at all. But his ankle was wrecked and he had a role that didn't suit his bad tendencies. Now he looks to be responding to a better role. I don't discount what the coach might be able to do there. I just want to see more.

If JB is getting 20-30 pts a game and were losing, whats the point in starting him? Not all about stats, Jose gives our team an edge, this game against the bobcats is a one game scene, well at least in the third and fourth quarter.

I wouldn't be so sure Jose definitely creates better offensive flow, he is worse on D though. But when his shots are dropping Jose can kill with pick and roll

He doesn't score consistently so his shot dropping is a moot point most of the time. I like what I'm seeing from bayless and I at least want them splitting minutes. Besides, Jose needs to stay healthy so we can make a decent deal for him this summer.

You sure abt that? Lol, I want to see Bayless play a couple more games starting with the team, if Bayless plays like this with another team we lose by 40.

Defensively he's just not that good and he's very streaky. When the shot is failing, he'll give you these 30 point nights, but when the shot is not, he'll give you nothing. He's like a PG version of Andrea Bargnani basically

Remember when Andrea was tearing it up 2 months ago and everybody got all excited despite knowing all too well that over 10 games Andrea can easily look like an all star. I'm afraid Bayless is the same.

I don't think a lot of people realize here that bayless is getting a lot of minutes to prove himself not because they want to see if he can be the starting PG, but rather if he's going to be a good enough consistent backup PG. There's no way we hand the team over to a player of Bayless' calibre, that would be a disaster. We're looking for all-star calibre players at PG, not Bayless level.

Why do we need an all star at PG when most championship teams don't have an all star at PG?

We can't put together a team of all stars, and I'd rather have an all star on the wing and an all star in the front court.

Besides, the only all star PG we have an outside chance at signing is Steve Nash, who most likely won't be playing when DD, JV, Ed are in their primes, and there doesn't appear to be too many all star PGs in the draft.

I agree, except I think it's possible he can be good defensively, and that he's likely been asked to make his defense a priority. To me, that's what he has to show over time, along with an improved ability to run the offense, and still score some even when the shot is off. It is a pretty big test that he's going to need to pass, but he still should get the opportunity to pass or fail.

Love Bayless' attitude and swagger but he definitely is a raw pg. Guys aren't getting the ball in good spots or with time on the clock and the offensive flow is lacking. Also doesn't help that our SG has zero playmaking skills beyond creating for himself. Jury is still out for me.

Bayless makes me queasy.

When both Bayless and Forbes are playing the Raptors might come closer to the Denver Nuggets "motion offense" that I picture as the model for the Raptors.

I think his game has improved a lot since last season when he started and flourished. His decision making has gotten a lot better but he still isn't good enough PG wise to be our starter. Forbes actually plays more as a PG than Bayless.. If only they switched bodies..

zero? That's an exaggeration.

And the offensive flow has been lacking all season. For more reasons than pg play.
