What I am seeing from Davis is that he didn't do much work on his game this past summer...he should get better as the year goes along.

But I am disappointed that he did not improve his game over the summer...

I am also worried about his jump shot even 8 feet in, he sometimes throws up an air ball. He has a bad hitch in his release & it needs to be accommodated a la (S. Marion) or he needs to go back to the drawing board all together.

I guess Cousins and Monroe are C's now, but they should still be in the discussion given how interchangeable PF and C's can be, thus minimizing the value of someone who can't play both spots.

So my question stands, is Ed really a cornerstone?
Was he ever meant to be a cornerstone? If he ends being a player that can impact the game as much as a Collison it would be a plus. Looking for a cornerstone under every rock leads to teams with a bunch of guys playing their own games. I'm sick of seeing guys in roles that don't really fit anything. Ed has every chance of filling a very necessary role that fits.

I can get on board with that.... it seemed like many were making him out to be a cornerstone piece at the time I started this thread.... As far as Collison, I like the comparison.

He has regressed so has DeMar & no one feels good about it. Including my self.

No one could predict that they would come out this slow.

I gotta give you props though for believing in AB, I had pretty much gevin up on him.

I understood some of the frustration, but some of the hatred that was going around was idiotic....

as for DD and Ed.... so much struggle, but also not as many flashes of brilliance as I'd hope for in high picks.

Can we trade DeRozan & Ed some how without giving up a pick for Stephen Curry?

I wonder if it is possible?

Ha. The only was that Rubio will be traded is if it's for a top 5 player.

Minny's not letting go of a guy they waited YEARS to get... and a guy who could potentially be the best pure PG for the next decade.

You could probably offer them the first pick overall PLUS Ed, PLUS DD and they'd still laugh in your face.

I think they would bite for a first overall and a future unprotected first

Uh - no, they wouldn't. They've had that for five years or so. No they are getting the results. They aren't going to go back to looking for someone that will bring results.

Ed is just an Amir clone...

Good effort most of the time but limited/zero basketball skills. It's clear to see.

Maybe he hasn't got giant muscles because he's not into all the HGH shiz.

People get WAY too worked up about his size. WTF? Dirk is a real beef cake isn't he.... Terrible player isn't he...

lol @ the guy saying he should be working out 8 hours a day because 'it's his job' and also claiming to be super ripped in comparison.

LOL @ the guy suggesting we should trade him for Rubio - LOL!!!!!!!!!!! - Maybe we should put in another offer - Ed for LBJ Wade and Bosh, what do you think?
