Bargnani should be the 1st big off the bench....instant offense, less of other attributes.

I hate this philosophy. He's either terrible at defense and rebounding or he's not.

It doesn't matter if it's for 26 or 35 minutes.

Man I really wish one was a C as their primary position. (and obviously one was a bit taller and/or bigger).

C- Ed
PF - Amir

Would be gangst.

I've seen Ed use his jumper quite a bit so for that reason I think he could play the high post and be a good pick and pop option in the future. For that reason he would be suitable more as a PF. Amir will never be a good offensive player unless he gets a decent mid range jumper considering he can't remember a post move that he can put to memory that he can use two times in a row.

I recall him having a decent mid-range jumper during the season. When he took it. He just plays around the rim a lot, which everyone likes.

We can keep them both and one of them can play center for a bit here and there, there isnt a need to get rid of them right now, get rid of bargs

Amir has done nothing to deserve to be replaced in starting lineup by rookie. Arguably our MVP last season, playing through injuries and still competing hard.
No need to rush with big minutes and big roles for Davis. Ease him up, don't put a "franchise player" burden on his shoulders yet

i like ED, but somethings, some comments indicate me that he will exit Raptors ASAP.
so, i would rather trade him for an asset like davis for curry.
use him really fast before he ask for being trade.

1. It's the only tool you have left because he's been entitled to start for years now

2. You can't demand things from guys and expect them to do it when they can see plainly that he is not...and maybe that's why they play differently when he's not there.

3. He could be even more deadly at what he does well playing more often against lesser talents in the NBA

4. and no, it doesn't have to be as low as 26 minutes, but he should line up against big boys in a big boy league when he starts playing like a big boy.

I haven't been able to shake that feeling yet either....but can't say I want to move him though.

I can't see GSW letting Curry go and leaving Acie to run the point. Davis would just duplicate Lee's role. Doesn't make sense unless we drafted Irving as a replacement for GS' pg - still wouldn't solve the Lee/Davis issue. To me it wouldn't make sense for GS to do.

i like the idea of davis starting and amir coming off the bench. i don't see them being redundant or having the problem of them working in each others space. there's more than enough time to further develop both players, especially when traino follows through on decreasing bargnani's minutes if he doesn't man-up and play some d. if we draft kanter, there might be an issue if Bargnani is a raptor next season.
