Arrow East is still least in the NBA (Raptors content)

This could just as well be a post on this board.

Quote:
Defense and turnover creation is almost nonexistent in Toronto, where the Raptors (11-17) are the league's worst in both categories. With Andrea Bargnani, Jose Calderon and Hedo Turkoglu in the starting lineup, opponents aren't exactly quaking in their Nikes over the potential for defensive pressure.

At that steep price tag ($52 million and change over five years), big free-agent ticket Turkoglu hasn't exactly been a savior on offense, either, giving the Raptors just 14 points per game on 43-percent shooting.

Backup point guard Jarrett Jack was hired to help make the Raptors a bit less terrible defensively, but his chilly shot-making does little to inspire more playing time from Coach Jay Triano. Rookie DeMar DeRozan was drafted, in large part, because he possesses the bounce and speed that general manager Bryan Colangelo was able to watch while working for the Phoenix Suns. But DeRozan's athletic chops haven't been enough to produce more than 7 points, 41-percent shooting or 20 minutes per game.

We almost forgot ... the Raptors may lose Chris Bosh to free agency next summer. If that happens, they no longer have to worry about being listed in a review of teams that fail to meet expectations.

Honestly, a large reason why we suck is the lack of effort from the players. You can see it night in and out when the other team get the easiest layups possible. And the stupid amout of 20+ point losses is stacking up fast.

I dont know what, but something needs to be done (later traino) considering no one listens or believes in the guy its time to get him out and get a real coach in. 2 year deal for the guy HA

I saw an Outside the Lines thing and they say when white people guard black players they're at a disadvantage and thats why they're not drafted as much
D Fish even said the white players don't have the quickness to play D

what does that have to do with us.....3 white players in the starting line up with the worst D in the league

Something interesting about our schedule, the only team we have played in our division so far is Boston, but we have played every other team in the Eastern Conference at least once and good teams more than once, (Orlando-3X, Atlanta-2X and Miami-2X).

That is a very unbalanced schedule. With computers they should be able to come up with better balanced schedules than the crap we have been given.
