Thunder Earl Watson for AP and Graham a possibility

The Thunder, meanwhile, continue to make forwards Chris Wilcox and Joe Smith and guard Earl Watson available on the trade front. It's believed that Oklahoma City is simply looking for expiring contracts and/or future first-round picks in exchange; sources say that a deal sending Watson to Toronto for Anthony Parker and Joey Graham is a possibility.
This is not a good trade IMO. Your thoughts?

watson's pretty good defensively. i wouldn't mind him here at all.

problem with that deal is that it completely kills our sg/sf position

if it were to happen, i'd be happy to see roko get burn at the off-guard. haven't really seen him play off the ball, but he's exactly the type of player we need there.

That's what I'm thinking, the only way we do this deal is if we're confident in Roko's ability to give us 20-25min at the two, or even Watson himself playing the two along with Jose.

Watson is 6'1 and a 185 pounds, i never EVER want to see this guy play the 2. There is no doubt in my mind he would get abused.

Plus we're losing our best perimeter defender in Parker, and Joey who brings some energy. If BC has a trade lined up for a good swingman then i would be fine with it. But if not were cutting into our already shitty depth at the 2/3 and clogging up the PG spot. Is Watson even a significant upgrade defensively compared to Roko?

I don't see why we need Watson.

Parker/Graham for Watson/Weaver is alright though. Weaver's a defensive stopper according to Hollinger, and 22.

We're getting abused on the perimiter anyways, and Parker is only our best perimeter defender out of default.

Both Dallas and NY start two guard 6 feet or smaller, and it's working out for both of them. Cleveland starts two pgs as well in Mo williams and Delonte West.

Yeah but without Parker we would get exposed even worst, which is pretty damn sad. N why you comparing Dallas and Cleveland to the Raps, are you forgetting they have TALENT (LBJ,DIRK,HOWARD etc). Do you think Caldy and Watson are comparable to Mo Williams and West?
Oh yeah the Knicks are 11-15, i wouldn't say it's working

This does not make sense. We are weak at the guard positions, but the solution is not trading our best SG for another PG. We have Calderon and Ukic already. Not to mention Soloman.

Adding Graham in the deal is just nonsense. It kills our depth and puts us in a desparate position for a second trade. Not a good position to make deals from.

When you're getting exposed horribly every game, how can you get exposed more by picking up a younger quicker guard. I don't think you guys understand how badly Parker is outmatched every night from an athletic standpoint.

Sorry asss move, but then again, I think alot of writers know that TO is gonna do something, so if their team is offering someone, we are possible partners.

Still waiting for the trade to bring in Belli and Maggette though.......

I don't know how much BC wants to trade Joey at this point.

He's seriously starting to step up while being one of the only 2 or 3 guys who brings the ruthless aggression every single night [almost].

i'd be pretty sad if this goes down. but we might be slightly overvaluing our scrubs, lol. when in reality this is actually the most we could get.

Why not trade Joey when we are only scratching the surface of what he could be? Makes perfect sense

I definitely think we could get Earl Watson for Anthony Parker straight up. That's a ridiculously lopsided trade IMO. Plus the fact there's no glaring need for a point guard.

Watson would get overpowered and shot over with ease
