That's actually a deeper lineup than we have now. Don't underestimate the vet leadership there. Armstrong didn't play here also.

Are you referring to this?

What boggles my mind is how the status quo persists at this point, outside of changes forced upon the team by injuries.
Came in here to post this.

It'll be very interesting to see what happens with the lineup if Bargs is out for a few games and we notch some wins.

On a related note.... WTF is going on with Anderson? Didn't he just roll his ankle? Seems like he's been out forever...

You were probably going to say it boggles your mind as well. Damn, I hope I only used that turn of phrase due to my being unbeatable at Boggle. I can't accept that you've started influencing my phraseology. Yep. I'm just too good at Boggle.

Anderson has started practicing again.

1 thing I'll say in Casey's defense, its pretty hard to set your rotation when you don't know every game which players are going to show up and what each player will provide that night
its no wonder it seems like the guy is throwing players out there at random times

First post here, long-time lurker. I've been harboring some thoughts about Casey so I'm about to go in...

I can't fathom why anyone would want to come to Casey's defense. The guy has single-handedly lost us more games than anyone 'not showing up'. His 2-pg novelty rotation could qualify as the worst idea ever implemented by a raptor coach, and the kicker is he's either too stubborn or too dumb to realize this.

His use of time-outs this seasons has also been horrendous. He's more scared to use them than he was to bench Bargnani. It's too late by the time they're up 15 pts Dwayne, WAKE UP.

As for tonight's game, leaving Gray in for a big portion of the 4th caused us to completely lose our momentum that we had when Ed and Val were dominating inside.

Casey is as big a detriment to this team as any other problem you can name. Even with Bargs out he managed to find some of the worst rotations possible. Picking 5 names out of a hat would have yielded better results.

Dwayne Casey's staying with us. BC shouldn't have picked up that third year so fast. He did turn the team around defensively with no major roster changes. Besides, MLSE would probably start charging us more on our cable bills to offset the firing.

If anything, the GM needs to go first with his shitty front office.
We have been hearing for 3 years now about his cap flexibility... then he goes and tries to land Nash, which WAS a superb player, good defender? Hell no...
So he landed Fields on the way, that could be a good glue guy at best, the guys looks like his twin brother who never played ball before... Then on the way, we get an injury prone PG, lose our draft pick (probably) 8th pick that will be off the bench and not a starter, one team bidding war on DD.... At least we got Jonas.
And one last thing... as a 3rd PG, don't you all think we could have done better than JL

Colangelo went to the grocery store trying to pick up some steak, but instead brought home some kraft dinner.

John Lucas was playing really well for us in the pre-season, so let's reward him with playing time. He makes one shot on his first 25 attempts and is still out there.
