Raptors Dwane Casey Interview

Great interview by Devlin other than the part where Raptors.com cut him off with bad editing. Still really interesting and should show where this team is going.

lol I can see it already:

Casey: "Andrea, you have to crash the boards and rebound! "
Bargniani: "But coach, its called Basketball not Reboundball"

agreed, this interview excites me. but i like what he brings to the table, defensive mindset and culture. and i hope it sticks.... very curious and interested on how he does.

I love his input on the players and if he can make Jose the Jose of before I'll be excited and looking forward to it. Doesn't matter if Barg can get better in defense but if he improve on those rebound its a success ^_^

Casey is our Thibodeau! Think about it! It's almost exact same circumstances except Casey comes out a champion.

Rose, Noah, Boozer and Deng are all better than our best player

i just hope we don't hire triano as an assistant Raptors gave him a ton of years, its time to move on for both parties

we need to start fresh, im sure it would uncomfortable for players, i know i wouldn't like it

Is Triano related to someone from MLSE cause he looks like a lifer in this organization. Just move him around from position to position every year.

seeing Colangelo talk about Casey being able to devise schemes that could fit the current personnel is depressing as hell. He can't be that dumb.

I do not want to see a flow offense with a guy that had to be tasered at times before he had any idea that he should be setting a screen rather than just standing on the perimeter waiting to fire away. Give this coach a fighting chance. Please don't leave me feeling that a coaching change is just going to allow the same shit to be sold in a new package.

This Kool-Aid tastes pretty good. I'm expecting another rebuilding year, so I'll buy it for this year.

Bargnani is better than boozer, but he's even lazier... If Casey can extract to effort from Andrea, he's easily an all-star. Problem is, nobody could do it before, so I'm skeptical ... But hopeful, because we could use some good fortune after all the years of bad luck.
