I dont think Val is fit for 4, from what ive seen from his game. He wants to be a legit C.

but then again, this is all speculation.
That's A LOT of "ifs" pzabby lol.... I like Ross.... but the chances of him becoming another Wade or Melo or Kobe are slim to none. No hate... but superstar guards like those guys are usually already established by the time they're in college. He could def. be a solid pro though with a chance at the all-star team if he works hard (same thing as DD basically).

He was a big time scorer in college though. He could have a trajectory like James Harden. Dude was considered to be lacking athleticism despite being well-rounded coming out of college, with skills that were somewhat refined but not exceptional. Why can't Ross be that guy? Yeah, no Kobe, but Harden is getting all kinds of hype these days about being max-worthy. Just something to think about. Even the kid in Philly is of that ilk.

Harden is one of the best 2 guards in the league, he runs the floor better then anyone on okc. id consider giving him a max deal, depends on which team though, and he SHOULD be starting, but i do understand why hes the sixth man, runs the 2nd unit. back to subject, drummond is still in the air, he does have potential to be an allstar for many years to come though.

I dunno.... I thought that Roy was a better example of a guy who "surprised" people on the pro level... and even then... I can remember A LOT of people being impressed with his poise and his game.

I just haven't heard that about Ross.... but maybe I've just been living under a rock lol. Hope I'm wrong.

My point being that many thought Harden wasn't athletic or explosive enough to be a star in this league at the draft whereas DD was seen as the upside SG prospect..... I see some similarity in Ross, Evan Turner and James Harden in terms of draft stock and player definition.... and I think it's possible for guys to exceed expectations whether it be Ross or Drummond.

Just saying.... but I could see Ross being a top 40 player if everythiing goes right, just like Harden.

I remember people saying Harden wasn't athletic enough to be a star SG, but he's proved them wrong. He finds a way to get to point A to point B. Seeing as Ross looks like a better athlete and already has a nice shot he could def turn into a very good NBAer.

Drummond does look like a game-changer though, if he can keep up the intensity and keep improving he looks like a legit, athletic C. Has soft hands around the bucket too.

And that's the reason he dropped in the draft, he just didn't have that intensity every night - his highs were high and his lows were low - see 29% FT shooting among other complaints.....
