Dorell Wright to the Sixers

The Warriors have traded F Dorell Wright to the Sixers for an unnamed player they have stashed in Europe.

He plays the same pos. as Iguadala :scratchchin:

Could it be that he is on the move? :mf_wink: Toronto? :willy_nilly:

This move means nothing IMO

Although I like Wrights game, he regressed this past season.

Nope. The Sixers wouldn't move Iggy to a division rival, especially one that had hired Stefanski.

I'm surprised at how little Philly had to give up.

LET'S GO RAPTORS!!!!! 07-10-2012 10:53 PM

So, they have Iggy, T.Young, Turner, N.Young, D.Wright, + Harkless on the wings.

He regressed because his minutes went way down. With about 32 minutes a game he can easily average about 14, 6, and 2. Which is good enough to start.

thad young plays more at the 4 and will probably start there plus the sixers will probably play a ton of small ball with one big so more wings are needed

It is unclear whom the Warriors will receive in return, though it is apparently a player who is currently playing overseas. That would mean the player is likely Edin Bavcic. Philly acquired Bavcic’s rights in a trade with Toronto in 2006.

Edin Bavčić was selected by the Toronto Raptors in the second round of the 2006 NBA Draft
First time I heard about him :)

And if Wright is the player for whom they amnestied Elton Brand, Sixers are a mess.
I mean, clearly they needed another SF
Iguodala will be fed up with them by trade deadline.

Bavcic dude sucks big time even in Europe, never played for a serious team nor in a serious league.
