Default Don't wanna speak too soon..

But it seems like with Lowry we just can't move the ball. We look congested wen we try to attack the rim, players don't get touches etc...
I am not saying he is bad, by no means, but could it be a case of an alpha dog?
How many games he tried too much too in crunch?
Damn even our D looked strong today.... WTF??

P.S it bugs me so much that we will most likely lost our draft pick for him, but in this kind of class, who knows it might not be that bad.

Our D looked strong as much because Dallas was brutal. Great game but let's not get carried away. And don't kid yourself, this team is going nowhere unless everyone is healthy and on the same page and that includes Lowry. Hopefully with our upcoming home games/easier schedule we can get on a role and then get everyone back and it continues. And tonight our bench scored more than double the points our starters did. One of those games, enjoy it but let's not lose our heads. lol

I truely think Ed is ready to be the starter fulltime, he's been giving it all season. I hope Bargnani can get healthy fairly quickly and we can deal him for a SF.

Kleiza looked great at the four... let's see how our new all-lithy frontcourt can look!!!

Jose runs the offence so much better.

It is also a red flag that Kevin McHale couldn't get along with. Needless to say McHale's knowledge in the game is close to legendary, but I hope he will bounce back.

The way Lucas looked tonight makes me think that Lowry can also play very well with this team, just like he did in his first 3 games.

On the other side, I don't think Bargs will ever adapt to the kind of defensive mind we've seen. He just doesn't fit in Casey's system. And without his floor spacing, DD has to play smarter, which he did.

Ed Davis needs plays ran for him. All he's getting is garbage buckets, he needs more so we can have an inside out type game.

With Dallas' lineup I'm surprised they're so close to 500. Their coach is good. Bargnani and valanciunas aren't good defensively. Guys like kaman dropped 9 points in the opening quarter.

we play better without Bargnani and Lowry. This isnīt an opinion, is objective. Is that you can see today and vs. Nets.

They two collapse the offensive system.

Today, without them, we defend strong, we move the ball, we grabbed rebounds, all players contributed to the victory...

We need changes.

I thought a trade with Dallas might work. Bargs and Jose for Marion and and filler. Dallas needs A PG badly and a scorer, while we need a SF
Mind you, a few seasons ago BC decided to ink Turk while Marion was willing to re-sign here.

Realize that there's a reason why everyone looked so good tonight.... with the exception of Ross, everyone who played big minutes was here on the team last season. They have some chemistry.

It's going to take Lowry a little while to get to know his teammates before he fits it seamlessly.

That's part of it. The bench came in tonight with the game tied, they then took over and got us a 12pt lead and we never looked back. Oddly i give a lot of credit to Lucas who looked good tonight with 7/6 in 23 minutes. The bench tonight outplayed the starters. The starters in the 1st were just trading buckets, then in the 3rd looked awful for a good stretch and our 20pt lead dropped to twelve as we went almost 6 minutes without a basket. The 2nd unit then came in and from that point on the game was over. And like i said, Dallas was awful tonight. OJ Mayo didn't get his first FG until late in the 3rd quarter.

We were better tonight because Bargs wasnt there (we had 5 defenders instead of 4) and Caldy got to guard a very cold Fisher.

We only got 95 points. But instead of losing 134-95 , we won 95 - 74.

Regarding Lowry it is too soon. But I don't expect that much until the foot fully heals, and that could be a long time. He should be learning from what he sees now though. He needs to be able to trust what the rest of the team can do, as they are demonstrating, and then play within his lesser self. Playing all out with the bad foot is just going to bring more injuries. He might as well be on skates out there. If he slows down and keeps his balance and lets the ball move then he'll be fine and he can gear up for next season.

Regarding the other dud, it's not too soon. It's too late.

I am glad they can play like this without Bargs.. it just shows that we don't need him, I think he messes up the chemistry, with his lack of effort on defense

when a team can play this hard being 4-19 coming into the game.. it just shows that Casey is the rite guy.. I did say fire him before, but when players are still playing hard, shows the coach has not lost the room

I think it also has to do with the fact that Bargnanni and Lowry are out.. and the guys that are on the court today actually like playing with each other

Yes, Mavs didn't play well for whatever reason - but Raps played together on defence all night long, as a team, and Calderon wasn't such a hole, was he now?

Offensively, they still looked ridiculously predictable, relying on outside shots way too much and clearly stagnant at times. But the ball was moving better, even to no great purpose, and the guys weren't trying to go iso all the time. That, combined with the defensive effort, gave them the W tonight.
