Default Don Nelson Walks Out on Media Scrum

I saw the post-up program this morning, and I recommend that people check out bigMac's video post when he gets it up here. Don Nelson's post-game comments were hilarious. He had nothing to say about the game, and no willingness to try to fake it. So he just keeps telling the reporters, "speak up - I can't make that out", and then just gives up on the whole thing. Kinda sad really. He doesn't look like he's going to be able to make it through the season. Maybe he's trying to get fired? First playing Jackson the whole game the other night, and now this?

convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

Yeah, this can't help his health at all either. He just looks like he's down and out and you're right LX, about to give up.

To watch the clip, check it out in bigmac's "Video Vault" forum: Highlights + Post Game: Oct 31 08

I don't think he's trying to get fired, he just signed a two year extension.

kicking himself for being so emotionally invested in the Roller-coaster Raptors

Nelson is a madman. He played Stephen Jackon all 48 minutes in their season opener, then again 45 mins last night. He's burning out his players and not playing his bench, and so far it has blown back in his face. His team is going to turn on him very quickly at this pace, unless his GM gets him a veteran PG ASAP.
