Does Anyone Think...

Joey Graham will step up and use his full potential? He has the build and athleticismbut for some reason he sucks ass on the court. His summer league stats were pretty good but still thats not the NBA. Hopefully he devloped some basketball IQ and will finally step up, cause this is a make or break year for Joey.

I've think this question has been beaten to death on every Raptors message board and the answer seems to be the same everywhere. That being that most have written him off and is just a waste of space. I mean physically he's a specimen, but something when it comes to the mental aspect of the game doesn't add up unfortunately. :(

Joey will be great this year.

I can feel it...and Im never wrong.

Gurk 09-24-2008 05:22 PM

Yea sure you aren't *rolling my eyes*
I just expect him to be traded for someone of his value such as the Haffa trade for Humps. Something like that

jeffb 09-24-2008 05:31 PM

He simply doesn't have any kind of killer instinct, sense of urgency, and just simply doesn't have the mentality to play at a high level over a full season. He needs a change of scenery and i think he'll get it within the next 4-5 months.

Joey who??? Did he even play last year? :suspicious:

His career is :tombstone:

true that. I can sense it too.
I predict he WILL be a principle substitute for this team. Seriously. This is the year that his career gets reborn.

He played good during the end of the 2006-2007 year. And even started in the playoffs, but when Moon, Delfino, Kapono came his minutes were limited and that's why he is shit

Joey off the bench as an undersized 4.

I like it.

At 4 he has some future. More than Bargs at 3 anyway.

He will probably be packaged with any combination of Parker, Kapono and Humphries before trade deadline.

i disagree young man. His minutes weren't limited because of new players coming in. His minutes went down because he couldn't grasp how to play offensively or defensively, would often get called for stupid fouls. It wasn't just because Moon, Kapono and Delfino showed up - Joey got many chances last year. He essentially put himself on the far end of the bench.

....

Until NOW. This year will be the year that we all go gaga over him.

We need a countdown clock for when this is due to come up again.
