damn... even people who lived in Toronto didn't know about him. I guess all his concerns about exposure and not being on television enough were legit.

I miss him in the sense that he would've been a nice piece on this team moving forward with the right offensive scheme.

Wow.

So, you all miss Garbo, and hate Chris Bosh.

Hmm.

Yep, I was right to feel superior in this room.

I might have had issues with some things Bosh said... mostly when he passed the buck on to the fans for his team losing, but Garbo?

You guys have a love affair with a guy that was average at best, and a huge hate on for a dude that is a VERY good NBA player.

Now paying him Max cash was a bit of a stretch, we can agree there, but to even put his name in the same boat as Garbojosa's is pretty much just silly. Guy averaged a double double and busted ass in this city for a lot of years. Thats a fact.

In a way I miss him, at least when he was here there was hope for a playoff run.

I loved Garbo. His leadership and toughness was great. But I have to kind of agree with what you're saying. But it's not shocking to me that people
5yrs later worship that type of player who played here for how many games. Yet ask WHO? When asked about Bosh and call him every name in the book. It's pretty typical.

TORONTO loves players with heart, hustle and a blue collar mentality.
ex, Reggie, Garbo, JYD, Alvin Williams and even in hockey...Tie Domi etc.

they might now be the biggest stars, but they do whatever they need to in order to help the team win

Oh I get it, don't worry. I just think it's a bit off to be happier without a good player.

And Garbo.... I LOVED the guy. But I would start him before Bosh, ever.

Which is partly one reason the teams here suck.
