Personally I don't want him in the starting lineup at all, or even to come off the bench. Amir/Davis is the future, Evans is not. Should Evans be traded or what?

obviously not (back in the SL). Also let's not even get ahead of ourselves considering that he is going to be out for quite some time.

And only trade him if he gets you a youngster or a pick. Otherwise he is a great presence in the team and good to have around.

We are fine without him. The only reason he got so many boards was because he would literally rip the ball out of everyone else's hands; which is kind of a dick move lol. Lets keep playing our young guys in the front court. Also Reggie is going to be in bad shape when he comes back, much like he was last year. So, he should be our second big man off the bench when he gets back.

+1 Reggie provides a ton of energy and he is the spark this team needs. Anytime you have a guy who gives 110% it rubs off on the whole team and everyone's game improves. He should not be a starter when he gets back but should still be a good role player.

If Ed Davis didn't look so damn good, of course you put Reggie back in the starting lineup...I still probably put him back in the starting lineup as soon as the team hits any kind of slump once he comes back from his injury.

it all depends on how thngs are going when Evans comes back. If we're losing and getting out muscled, then of course it makes sense to use him like before, but if we're getting those things done and rebounding decently, then Reggie will have to take a back seat.

Nope.... Garbage minutes only. He is behind, Bargs, Amir and Davis...to a smaller extent I would rather see Linas out there at PF if necessary

You have to let him lose his spot. Amir and Davis are more talented but Reggie earned his minutes at the start of the year with his play, you have to let him lose it with his play as well. He deserves a chance to be a contributor after his injury.

I am appalled at the fact that this is being discussed so prematurely. Evans is a big part as to why we're playing so hard as a team, I won't be part of thread that bashes him in any way. Trade him, sure, but you can't bash what he has brought to the table, it's invaluable.

Reggie injured is currently BETTER for the team.
He's the perfect person to get on everyone, make them play and provides confidence for them.
His offensive skill set is lacking so much that he's a liability on the floor, even with his rebounding.
If he could ever be a 6/12 guy, he would be worth it.

If he comes back and the team is still doing well, trade him at the deadline. If we're not going well, keeping him doesn't really matter anyway. I don't think he'll be re-signed here next season so i say trade him. Ya that's it.

I like Reggie and I love what he has done to help this team. Sadly Amir is younger and better then him and with Davis back in the line-up I don't see him getting many minutes when he comes back. Other then that maybe we can put him in the starting line-up to up his value, if hecomes back before the Trade deadline, if not then he'll get back-up minutes

its sad to say, but no.
if Reggie comes back, i see the same thing that happened to him last season happen again.
he will be out of shape, rusty, and kill any offensive flow.
remember how bad he looked last season when he came back? ughhh.

that being said, i say no now because of how goddam good we currently look - and with Davis showing some serious signs!
but who knows, we could be horrible in a few months and we'll be dying to get Reggie back heathly... anything can happen.

I actually don't think trading Reggie is a good idea. His talent won't return much value, and his ending deal is one of many around the league. He shouldn't be getting more than 15 minutes a game, and not 15 every game... he should be a situational guy, but his presence is invaluable.

If you think trading him will bring anything back, you need to stop playing so many video games. Besides, he is exactly the type of veteran this team needs: he doesn't demand minutes, is well-liked and works his tail off. End of story.

Reggie is such a leader right now that he'd still be useful... even if he only sees the floor for 10-15 min/gm.

Kleiza is the guy that I'd look to deal. I just don't think that he fits with what we're trying to build here.

I dont think we should trade him; the reason we were winning up to this point is due to Reggie out hustling for rebound and giving our team 2nd chance opportunity but I say he should come off the bench and play with our 2nd unit instead of starting. Our starting line up is finally having chemistry and the 2nd unit is still as effective as always; starting reggie will screw up that chemistry. On the other hand if you play reggie with the 2nd unit it make them even more effective. Bayless and Barbosa has great chemistry together and you play Davis+Reggie together who needs a center they can get you rebounds and blocks.
