This Pacers fan said it better then i have said it, without ever watching a Raptors game, but obv i have and it was funny because imo he is totally right....

"And when they threw him the ball and those three defenders collapsed on him did he calmly find the open man for a nice in rhythm basket or quickly get the ball back out to force the defense to react and then have time to get it back to him with the defense scrambling? History says he did not but I've not watched one Raptors game this season. History says he held the ball and forced his patented fadeaway side of the rim clanker or threw a hot potato pass with the shot clock ticking away and no option but for the receiver to shoot out of rhythm.

If history is a guide it's no wonder you throw 3 defenders at him because he doesn't make you pay for that.

And that is why he was a chemistry killer here (IMO).That's why JO never made any players around him better. He never made the game easier for anyone but rather was only worried about 'his' touches. I waited for years for JO to have the lighbulb game where it all clicked and he would see the bigger picture. It never happened. It doesn't sound like it's happening in Toronto either... "

I really cant say it better, i feel this way about him in the short time he has been a Raptor. He was in Indy along time, and alot of ppl still like him, but more feel this way about him. Maybe its biased, but i feel that way and he is on my team and supposedly im told, playing great.

Yes, but two of them on the court at the same time just kills us. I also dont wanna hear "keep JO instead of Bosh then", thats not an option, there can only be one player on the floor like this at a time, either JO steps off and comes off the bench, or he should step off the team for something that fits us better. Im not saying JO sucks, but for our team, he doesnt fit imo.

BTW Bosh IS better then JO. Not trying to make a thread about that, but if you can keep only one, its crazy not to make that one Bosh.

Bosh has gotten better and better as a passer. I can recall people bitching about him passing the ball instead of forcing his own offense, as long ago as...yesterday. Bitching aside, making the pass was the right move last game, and the guy's sense of what he should and should not do is solid. I'm not saying the above description never applied to Bosh, because it very much did, and he may still have games where it applies; but overall he has come a long way and just has a much better understanding of the game now, to accompany a fundamental unselfishness that he has always demonstrated.

IMO One thing that Bosh has improved from last year even though he still does once in a while is when he used to get the ball and wait 5 seconds to make a decision. He constantly did it last year and I couldnt stand it. This year hes taking decisions faster (even if its a bad one) wich is really important because he doesnt let the defense settle so much.

Yep - he started getting really good at that in the second half of last season, and he's carried it over. He used to wait for double teams too much before doing anything, and now he really has a good idea of how the offense can run through him.

bosh has gotten only marginally better - and he's still a major ball hog. Both JO and him are black holes on offense, and one of the major reasons why we're shooting so few 3 pointers. I don't understand why neither Sam nor Triano aren't constantly on their back to make them pass more.
