Hollinger's controversial to be sure, but his formulas did predict leonard is a good pick and apparently, for wings, past results have been really good in conforming with reality.

waiters is currently projected to slide to 8th, after he was moved to 7th last week on espn's draft board.

Flynn went into the NBA with thoughts of being a very good PG. Right now I'd think of him nothing more than a bust.

I hope Waiters can be a solid NBA player. Something about Cuse players underachieving in the NBA saddens me. Its like a stigma

isn't that a little troubling that he didn't start and that his stats arent the best on the team, kris joseph had better stats and he is going late in the second round

i guess i support the marvin williams theory if you cant start for your college team your not good enough to take eary in the draft and thats what the Raptors are about to do

Waiters didn't start but he was the best guard on the team. His stats and play reflect that. He also did recieve starters type minutes. Boheim liked the second spark he gave starting late AND he was always in clutch situations. I think it was mainly to keep Scoop happy as he was a little bit of a problem in his Cuse career. Boheim gave scoop the image in was his rock but took it away quickly and got the combo situation working with dion

He played what, about 24/25 mpg? He was a part of a deep rotation that highlighted his strengths + hid his weaknesses. I don't want the raps to draft another guy like dd or Bargs who has major flaws that need to be covered. I also want the raps' pick to be used to be playing mad minutes.

Good article on Waiters by David Aldridge on NBA.COM. Around the same time last year, Aldridge was raving about Jonas. I agree with the last comment, Raptors need a leader (Alpha Male):

you really can't at all say this in a draft. a draft is a guess in the dark, sure scouting is there, but it is never surefire. look at darko

I'd be more concerned about waiters adjusting to man to man defense than playing "mad minutes".
