Sounds like Waiters is getting more love here without even playing a game. I guess calling off workouts really got people digging.
Wonder what Casey thinks getting a kid who has barely played one defensive man to man set in college. |

i'll agree with the bolded. sure, nice point. but logistics? competition? what do you mean by logistics exactly? and competition wise people in Europe generally play against better competition that people in the NCAA. I severely dislike it when people say europe is a "soft" league where those who didn't make it in the NBA go to play. may be true as there are more teams, hence more spots, but it would be as a bench fodder for those that "couldn't cut it in the NBA". Europe is just a completely different style of game. it's almost like comparing rugby and football, 2 completely different sports. OK, maybe not THAT much, but the point stands.

Seems like every week it's a new prospect that every one is making a big fuss about. Austin Rivers is so last week.

Whomever mentioned Waiters being like Stuckey just killed all enthusiasm I had towards him..... makes me think of other comparisons, Harkless to DeRozan?
Waiters being 6'2" without shoes really worries me. Beal gets torched for size and he measured in at 6'3.25" Last edited by carp; 06-27-2012 at 12:28 PM. |

But the list should include players who didn't come with warning flags. For example, thabeet came with major questions, it's memphis who fucked up by drafting him too high. Same with guys like morrison or even fredette. You will not find many picks who had issues that were not forecasted by scouts. |
