Unhappy Dino Nation: Moon In The Dog House With Raptors?

The longer Moon is absent from coming to Toronto/Ottawa to get ready, the greater Kapono's odds are at starting this season.

This also is not going to help Moon’s cause as far as remaining in the starting line-up. Which most have already given to Jason Kapono as his to lose. I don’t know if it is all that bad. I don’t see this as an issue personally call me if Moon is not in Ottawa on the 30th.

Everyone on the team with the exception of Moon have been in Toronto unofficially training for almost a week now.

His cars were denied, not him. (Although he was travelling in the car) I think that was just one day. Rumour has it he flew up himself the day after.

Anyhow, he was up here last Thursday for the SCORE event and has already been practicing according to various media sources in TO.

Me as well .... depends on how sensitive BC and Sam are with it. My guess that as long as he's in Ottawa next Tuesday for the start of camp all will be forgotten.

It is possible that maybe his kid was born and he doesn't have the necessary paperwork to bring them across the border.

I don't know ... you live closer to the border than I do .... take a drive down to the Peace Bridge and customs.

bout The J.O Thing. This was based on a posting on Real G.M that if memory serves me right I read about here.

Like it says it what I wrote I have no Idea if the story is true and it was based on the paperwork for the Cars. If J.O wanted to leave his cars at the border and enter Canada I am sure that was possible. But would you trust the government of U.S or Canada with your car? I wouldn't.

There are still some spots in are yahoo league for the blog. Doc is in their and me too. We also have the Stock Market league on NBA.com for the true fantasy junkie.

The stock market one courtesy NBA.com definitely looks interesting and sounds appealing, but as I stated at your blog I just don't think I'd have the time to stay with it all season long. The Yahoo one is much more feasible for me.

It is based on what Doug Smith has said over the past few days in his blog. I would have to think it makes logical sense they would not be pleased as Moon is one of the people in a fight for a spot on this roster.

As I said at the end of it I think this will not be a big issue unless he is not in Ottawa which has not been suggested in the slightest. However it does not exactly help his case.

SO help me out here, has Doug Smith said the organization are not impressed, and pissed, or are you saying they "probably" are?

Well I'm just curious if this is something that someone with information has put in a national newspaper, or a blogger making stuff up, and passing it off as true.

Although I don't want to go sifting through Doug's daily blogs, he did mentioned something very similar recently about what James is referring too regarding Jamario.

So you have no evidence to present at this time....

I was told by a very senior, disappointed member of the basketball braintrust that he wasnít in town to work out due to unspecified ďpassport problemsĒ which Iím sure is true but probably something that could have been worked out earlier.

No oneís saying he has to be here (and by contract he doesnít have to be), itís just that he should, because a second-year player coming off a so-so end to a rookie season who figures to be in a fight to retain his starting position should be in town a week before training camp begins. He doesnít have to be here, and players have been returning in dribs and drabs since early September but, and trust me on this, people in the organization notice these things.

Itís not a huge deal, but it is a deal. The guy I talked to was disappointed and if the bosses arenít happy, it canít be a good thing.

Iím sure heíll be in this week Ė there was some suggestion he was going arrive last night Ė and things will get back to normal.

I only mentioned it because it was mentioned to me in a casual conversation.

Found it for you....much ado about nothing if you ask me.
