Dimemag: Bosh to GS?

Quote:
While much of the trade talk surrounding this June’s NBA Draft centered around Amar’e Stoudemire being sent to Golden State for Andris Biedrins, Brandan Wright, Marco Belinelli and the No. 7 pick (Stephen Curry), it appears another big name free agent might be headed to The Bay. According to the Toronto Sun, Chris Bosh has been mentioned in a possible trade to the Warriors in a deal that would involve Biedrins coming to the Toronto, with, of course, a lot more.

The most obvious piece to be moved would have to be Stephen Jackson, who just received the first fine of Don Nelson’s career, but I doubt the Raptors see him fitting into their future plans.
More Bullshit rumors.

NBA Trade Rumor: Chris Bosh To Golden State | Dime Magazine (www.dimemag.com) : Daily NBA News, NBA Trades, NBA Rumors, Basketball Videos, Sneakers

I would possibly do Bosh/Banks for Biedrins/Ellis/Wright

Would you like this lineup?:

Calderon/Jack
Ellis/Bellinelli/Douby
Turkoglu/DeRozan/ A. Wright
Bargnani/Johnson/B. Wright
Biedrins/Nestovic/O’Bryant

Youd trade Bosh for a really good center, a guy with a terrible attitude and questionable health with one of the worst contracts in the NBA, and a guy that may never play consistantly in the NBA? If Ellis wasnt such a moron and had such a serious injury with a horrible contract, then maybe.

But otherwise, I dont see how this trade doesnt turn us into near Minnesota level team. Ellis at SG LOL.

I don't understand why GS would trade for Bosh. He would probably just bolt next summer anyways.

I'd trade Bosh + Write for Biedrins + Ellis + Morrow in a heartbeat, but GS would be stupid to do that.

Let's just recycle the same old rumour from months and months ago. Let's do it every week. No - how about every day!

I'm thinking I should maybe head to San Jose myself. Does anybody know the way there?

Yeah GSW would be stupid to trade their worst contract and 2 good pieces for a near franchise level talent that theyve been waiting to get since Webber left.

Yeah.

Yeah they would. They're not going to make the playoffs no matter what this year, and he'd just walk in the summer and be left with nothing. They should give up a great young big AND the league's best three point shooter from last season for that?

Brilliant move that would be.

Stephen Jackson would be a must have. The rumor sounds like b.s. to me though...Based on a report from someone who has not mentioned any credible source, Chris Bosh likes to sometimes play dice behind the ACC two hours before games. Come on, its true. A guy told me he heard it from this other guy who he couldn't name.

IF we trade Bosh to GSW, the package would start with Randolph. That guy will be a 20/10 guy within 2 years, and plays the same position as bosh

if we could get them to part with Randolph, Turiaf, and one of their young guards (morrow, azubuike, curry, watson etc) and maybe a draft pick, that could be worthwhile. I think it's pretty clear that if this team doesn't make the playoffs, building around bosh, for whatever reason, is not the way to go forward. The supporting cast might not be the best, but it's definitely above average if Bargnani keeps playing like he did this year.

it's safe to say that any team that gave up solid players for Bosh would require him to sign a contract w/ Toronto before the trade

i mean sure, teams may unload a bunch of bad contracts just to use Bosh as an expiring but theres no way Toronto would do that.

No, the article is dated Oct 12th, 2009. And they were reffering to a rumor at the draft this summer for Stoudamire. And the fact that they couldn't land Amare and that they now want Bosh.
