Wrong.

Pace and shot attemps all increased over those 10 games.
Ball movement increased marginally but has been poor all season.

wow! jose missed 4 of his last 10 games! at least you're starting to realize how invisible he is out on the floor.

This is hilarious, just went back to take a look at some old threads. I was not surprised to see that Willy and Roko were getting blasted from our fellow posters. I also looked and compared what sides our friends were taking. There is hope for all of us because once Jose gets healthy he will get all the love again. I hope all you guys practice safe sex because if not all this swinging will cause your d--k to fall off. lol

I'm tired right now, but guys, please read all threads and quit making redundant ones. I'm tired of reading 10 Jose Calderon is terrible/traded/overrated/sucks threads.

Alot of the comments right now are redundant as well.

So, everyone, please read all threads b/f creating new ones.

Thank You.

We have a PG who is 3rd in the NBA for assists and he has not missed a free throw yet. Maybe he doesn't go too often to the line but he is 12 shots close to breaking the NBA record. He rarely turns the ball over. He lacks fast break skills but sorry Nash is special. Also Jose has been injured quite a while and that affects his play. Wrong expectations make people unhappy. Get over it. Calderon is one of the best PGs in the world today.

The wrong thing about the trade was that we got O'Neal for such a huge amount of money. We could have gotten a good wing player for Ford and keep Nesterovic.

Jose is one of the better point guards in the NBA, and my guess is that most of you will start liking him again once he plays a good game (he was playing his best basketball before he got hurt, BTW, so I'm not sure what you people are talking about).

And TJ? Well he's sucking and more injury prone than anybody.

Has anyone else seen the significate drop in Joses game over the last few weeks? I thought this guy was going to be a lock to be an all-star, so we traded an injury-prone point guard to Indy. Now it's the other way around. Jose has yet to play a whole game in January and TJ's numbers since joining the pacers have soared. Which makes me think. Would we be doing better if we had run-and-gun TJ, or half-court Jose.

Makes you think......

He #1 reason we had to trade TJ (instead of Jose) is... because we got full monetary value for his contract. (Jose is a BYC).

There was also the option of keeping both which no one talks about everyone just has said it became a case of one or the other. I think some form of conflict in this team may not be such a bad thing. I mean all this peace love and harmony thing has not exactly worked out. Everyone just assumed it could not work. given how things have gone with Jose it would have been pretty nice to have a T.J ford to count on. I know I am living in a dream world but I would be much happier with T.J and Jose then what we have got from J.O and CB4 combo.

Why do ppl keep on insisting he is a top flight PG?? Do you really think 2months of stellar play out of a close to 4 year NBA career makes you a top PG in this league? To me it makes you a flash in the pan if you dont put up after that, and so far thats what Jose is, not saying he wont improve or isnt hurt, but seriously, none of us know the real extent of his injury and alot of ppl seem to be in the making excuses for Jose business these days. Two months of Allstar type play, thats it, unless all you read is stats, if thats what you do then Rasho = JO, because the stats are the same. Guess you believe that too.

Jose was never a top PG in this league, he looked like he could become one during a small stretch last year, but at the end of the year and in the playoffs he tailed off badly, and is continueing that this year, hopefully he steps up.

If we kept TJ, and he was struggling, this same thread would be made.

Jose is a great player. Period.

In your opinion. I think it is clear a lot of folks to not share that opinion. Is defense is brutal and he refuses to take chances and cost the Raptors easy points on a nightly basis. He is good not great and that is the sad truth if fans of the guy don't want to accept that you are welcome to do that. But people have seen the flaws in his game and his transition into being the man as far as having the starting job has just made flaws in his game that were their before now more obvious. He came of a career season and the Raptors signed him and paid him based on less then a season of play to judge from. I am not to the point of Kenny Smith saying he doesn't deserve to be a starter but I sure would not have left him to hang in the wind without a legit back-up. Ukic may become that but he is not there.
