His current production might have something to do with the fact that he isn't the primary option any more and has to share touches with 2 superstar wing players.

How 'bout this? When Bargs avgs 22 & 10 for ONE season (much less 3 like Bosh did), or tallies 24 & 11 while shooting 50% from the field, or makes the all-star team half a dozen times or goes to the line more than 8 times/night THEN we can talk about a fair comparison.

Better?
You're far too caught up in stats man....

Please... sure, stats tell part of the story but I think it's a safe bet to say that Dirk > Bosh > Bargs all day every day.

At least the first 2 have demonstrated the ability to carry a team offensively for an entire season and dominate their positions.... the latter has not.

And you don't even have to look at the boxscores to see that. You can just watch the games.

I'm just hoping JV ends up being the next TD so that we might get a shot at the finals.

Well, there isn't so much difference yet, but I kind of agree with you..... it depends on extension size I suppose, and right now, 5M/yr seems high. I also think Colangelo has Weems in mind going forward so maybe it's a win win.... win!

I think it's too early to tell if they're overrated.

I never thought DD was the next Kobe. He's a good player, but he's not a goto guy. But I think he's still part of our future. He's a scorer, but not the type that creates for himself. Someone else needs to create for him. He'd be awesome beside someone like LeBron or Rose, in our case he does pretty well beside Bargnnani.

I still like Ed Davis, he's still just a boy playing amongst men. He needs to put on more muscle, just seems like he gets bullied by other team's starters. But he's pretty good going against other team's benches, which is when he normally gets his quiet double double games.

Most people don't overhype Bayless, but I'm a big fan and I think he can be a fringe all-star if given the opportunity. I'm still hoping he can prove me right once he gets back into game shape.

Yeah, AB is such a stud playing PF yet somehow getting out-rebounded by a PG a foot shorter than he is and racking up less blocks than guards who are 8"-9" shorter, and the sad thing '12 is a career high for rebounds for Bargnani lol....

Talk about one-dimensional...if Bargs is the best player on your team you know it's not very good.
this post is everything thats deflating for me on this forum some days. buncha stats, no real idea how to read them, and then a BS conclusion.

That's it. Before making any complete comparison between them we should wait AB'll be 34 and have played for a contender franchise which, actually, Toronto is not. (And we can't pretend he'll lead us to the finals by himself, because there's only one LeBron James a decade if not more.)
