Expect a bigger, stronger version, CB has added 15 pounds. Not only did he add upper body strength, CB also worked his lower body. Bosh employed a personal trainer all summer. After watching the Olympic Gold Medal game from Beijing, CB felt that he needed to add some size and strength. Everyone I've talked to with the team raves about Bosh's preperation entering this season, not only physically but also mentally. CB has worked on expanding his game, watched video and hit the gym. All great signs. Here's a four-time All-Star and one of only two players last season to average 20-plus points and 10-plus rebounds, putting in the extra work to get to the next level! You gotta love it.

Captain Canada is in town for a couple of days to check out TIFF. Steve Nash did a media blitz yesterday including a sit down interview with Peter Mansbridge which should air in the next week or so (as they say, check your local listings). Nash partnered with LG and Harry Rosen last night for an event at their Bloor St., store... Jay Triano, Asst. GM Marc Eversley and DeMar were all there. I know you've heard this before, but its true... Steve is the most down-to-earth athlete you'll ever meet. He is simply a quality guy. BTW, that whole TIFF scene... Never experienced it before, but will again. Here we go again with New York and LeBron... I don't know if I can take another year of this... Word is the Knicks may get creative with LeBron, in an attempt to circumnavigate the salary cap, Cablevision (think Rogers) which owns the Knicks is willing to give LeBron his own TV channel, LJTV... Even with the prospects of his own channel I still think he's staying and that goes for Wade and our guy too... But that's just me. Fans, get ready for replacement refs... There may be a lockout if they can't come to an agreement, preseason games are just three weeks away. Is this a prelude of things to come in 2011, when the current player CBA is up? I hope not. I think both sides realize they can't afford to go through that again given the times, that's one of the reasons why David Stern and player union rep Billy Hunter started talking last February at All-Star Weekend. I'm off to Indiana for Big Ten Football, but I'll be back for the Season Seat Holder Block Party at Polson Pier on Sunday, look forward to seeing all of you there. This is one of the best times of the year if you're a sports fan... Basketball and hockey are getting ready to start, baseball races are heating up, college football is underway and the NFL started last night! Love it.

POB has been putting in a lot of work. I think he has to be cut some slack for the ambivalence that he showed in warmups when he first got here.

During the Greece-Germany match, commentator said Printezis's right is on Toronto's hand. Anyone know whats the situation of him in here? He is really tuff guy and can bring solid defense to squad.

If I remember correctly, BC said he had no intention on bringing Printezis over this season. Wanted him to get more experience overseas instead of warming our bench. Smart decision at this point considering the depth we have at the moment.

Great to hear about Bosh. If we get a significantly improved one, he showed early last season that he can carry this team. Everyone else sucked early last season and he eventually wore down and was never the same. Improved strength should help him to stay at the top of his level throughout. If that's the case we can end up in the top three in the conference with our much improved depth.
