I'm starting to buy into an AB, DD, KL, JV core. I'm worried about our SF spot still, but an oak tree grows slowly.
Carp, gotta agree with you. Bargnani will open up the paint for DD and Kyle to get to the rim. I am not really worried about DD 3 point %, he has got to get to the rim and to the stripe. Miami won the championship, when Lebron and Wade started to attack the rim and not bail out their opponents with perimter shots. There enough touches with Lowry, DD, Jonas, and Bargnani. Fields is the glue guy with smart passes, good cuts to the rim, and has good chemistry with Lowry. If two or more starters go down, and we ask Landry to expand his game (like Demar last year), that's when the team is in trouble.

You may be right about Fields... I'd just feel a little more comfortable with a guy that was a bit more physical and more able to hit the three, but yeah his BBIQ is undeniable and his offball movement is much more determined than a DD, and Raptor wings of the past as well.

lots of great shooting guards were poor 3pt shooters, from MJ to wade. Ball handling, defense and mid range shooting are more important imo. He'll get better at 3s too in time, let him improve his core skills first.

The other thing is that Demar is huge for a SG, and to maximize that advantage, he needs to play closer to the basket, mid range and post ups mesh well with his height advantage, shooting 3s not so much.

I just hope T.Ross will be able to contribute and play alongside DD, because I am not confident in laundry fields.. , yes it is preseason but so far he is not showing he can hit the open shots

There is much more to being an effective NBA player than hitting shots.

DD is a SG and so is Ross. The only time they'll play at the same time is when it is optimal - matchup wise.
