Derozan Frustrated and tired of losing

Quote:
“I’m tired of losing,” was how a dejected DeMar DeRozan put it after the Raptors dropped a 104-95 decision to the powerful San Antonio Spurs here Wednesday, Toronto’s fifth loss in a row and one that came after they led by 11 points at the half.

“Man, it’s definitely frustrating. It’s a killer. Being up on the best team in the NBA? We’ve just got to hold the lead, you know? It’s definitely frustrating.”

Quote:
“I had a good talk with DeMar the other day. DeMar’s being spoiled right now with the number of minutes that he’s getting because of our lineup,” said the coach.

“I told him, ‘You’ve got to play every possession like you were on a team where you were only getting 18 minutes a game.’ I don’t want him to form bad habits and ‘Dre (Bargnani) is in the same boat.

“You have to do other things so that when there are games that you don’t score points, that you are contributing to us in other faces. Those two aren’t alone, though.”

I agree... there are many defensive slackers on this team.

Mainly because it's an offensive minded team with mediocre offensive minded players.

DeMar played pretty good D yesterday IMO. He just needs to work on doing that consistently.

Raptors need some defensive players, trade Barbosa, Calderon or Bayless, Someone else for some defensive players!

I'd argue DeRozan is already ahead in his defensive capabilities than a certain 7 footer on this team.

I've yet to see DeRozan leap out of the way as I've seen Bargnani do on some plays.

What is frustating is the Raptors play good defense, then they give up the offensive rebound. Blair had 8 offensive rebounds last night and Okafor had 12plus the night before. Get rid of Bargnani, and this team will be alot better going forward.

It was frustrating watching them cough that lead up with AB on the bench too.

now i can definetlly tell he won't extend contract here at Toronto. Let's be realistic, Everyone is chasing a ring, only few like Kobe Bryant, Nowitzki, daeron williams who are sticking with they're current team. Kevin Love became something and he quickly said about leaving. I'm pretty sure, that if Raptors won't get into the playoffs for the next two seasons DD is out.

I disagree.... if he doesn't resign willingly, they'll match any offer.... cause he'll be a RFA

Lol Bryant? He tryed to get out of LA when he got a tiny bit unhappy, I wouldn't dare put him in the conversation of loyal. Hes only there and happy because they're winning.

I highly doubt that.....our offence us usually terrible without Bargnani and our centers would be way too undersized and probably would still give up rebounds. We need a legit center who is a good defender and rebounder to cover bargs's ass. Until then we arent getting any better on defence.

I'd suggest having poor defenders starting at the 1,2,3 and 5 positions is what ails this team. Amir starting is decent at the 4, but no way big enough without Bargnani in the lineup.

i like DD mindset right now? focus on winning.

and in the hand, you have Bargs (injury minus) who say just : "not a big deal" WTF ! WTF ! WTF ! WTF ! WTF ! WTF !

when i said i want bc to consider trading bargs, i never think he was a so-lazy guy, who frustrate everybody.

ps; i continue to want im get trade for some nice piece.

That's where Reggie was most useful. He was covering up some of that, and knew damn well that he had to.
