![]() He's an all star. For sure B.C. will make the attempt.
A guy can dream. I bet at a minimum, you might expect numbers round about here within 3 years from this unit. D-Wil 20 pts 9 assists 4 reb Demar 16 pts 4 assist 4 reb Barnes 16 pts 4 assists 5 reb Bargs 20 pts 3 assists 7 reb JV 14 pts 2 assists 10 reb In Casey's sytem, they would be heard. |

my preference is - if you say you want to concentrate on D - do that and don't let somebody off cause they're good at O. You try that for a season, you have a chance to establish something. Now I can't watch when JJ is not on the floor. |

![]() I don't think BC will do anything major with the cap space - there's a lot of guys on the roster that will need contracts before too long.
A max contract is, I think, out of the question, unless it's for a Durant/LeBron type player that's (IMO) worth more than the max. I don't think Deron is in that class of player, because if he was the Nets wouldn't suck. |

![]() thankyou, i was just about to post this. The nets got rid of their entire team pretty much for Williams, and that's why they aren't doing so well. Not everyone can be LBJ, but then again it doesn't mean he doesn't deserve the max.

![]() NJ has just as good of a supporting cast as ours. In fact it's a lot better if you discount JV who is such an unknown quantity. Derozan + Bargnani + JJ is not even close to what NK has now.
So why would he leave a ton of money on the table to come here? Especially when the alternative is Dallas. |

I'm happier than anyone about Dallas beating Miami last year, but it you look at some of their major pieces, they're getting really old. Dirk, Marion, the jet, Kidd, Carter...even Odom. If he signs with them, yes, they have another small window of a year or two, but after that, he may just be wanting out of there too, unless Cuban decides to make some major changes. |

![]() I'm not so sure any non-raptor fan thinks any good of our core group of players. Our only assets right now are Casey and JV, and JV is a major unknown.
Now, if we get lucky and get our hands on the #1 pick, that could change things in a major way ... |

![]() Deron Williams is sticking in NJ as long as the possibility of D12 going there is alive. The only place he's moving to is where D12 will eventually move to too or if there's another super team being created and he's going to be the PG. Either way its not in Toronto.

![]() explain yourself
bargnani is a 7 footer who, when not coming back from a 2 month injury is arguably one of the most potent offensive players in the league, who's defence is improving at an alarming rate, and who is consistantly putting more and more effort into the little things that win you ball games. If that's not a major asset, then what is? Not everyone is a kobe, LBJ, Wade, Bosh, etc.. |

![]() It's less likely than some other destinations, but we don't know it. Any guy who is upset to leave Utah has a mind of his own. And not all of the best destinations have $17 mil to spend on him.

![]() I'd rather have Steve Nash... who wont be getting max money like D-will will be requesting and at less years... plus the great locker room and team attitude and mentor to a possible young future PG if ever one is drafted or traded for...
Not to mention the sexy pick and roll for the next few seasons with Bargs and JV |
