Default Demar Derozan stepping up

I dont want to get excited and all, but have u guys seen the way he has played the last 2 games. This guy is relentless when driving the ball. He did struggle for most of the early parts of the season but now he is playing great. Also, hes doing all of this scoring when he is the 4th or 5th option on the court. How good do you think this guy will be considering he is only 20?

Also, love the swagger with his comments regarding the dunk off.

if he can just find consistency in his J he would be even better, but I've noticed everytime Demar has shot the ball its because hes wide open and the shot clocks running down so that might be in the back of his head when he catches it but I agree hes been on a tear despite only getting a few touches

The guy gets to the line, runs the floor, and has great hustle.

Watch out when he gets that mid-range and 3-point jumper

He has potential... he is fast, his dribble is decent... and he can jump, just got to work on the shot a little, but that will come with hard work

he has been stepping up of late, DD is a rookie so he will be inconsistent at times... but other then that I like his confidence level..

I think he is slowly finding his role, and strengths, because it's hard to get in any rhythm when your like the last option on the floor, but players are slowly showing confidence in him by given him more touches..

last two games.. he is the man on the court Raptors are looking for, for penetration, so I hope they continue to give him touches

I wish we can see more highlights of him driving and dunking, instead of being thrown alley oops.

I really like what i see from him. Also, this seems to be a bit of a trend with him. He started slow in College, didn't try to do to much early and picked his spots, and then once he got acclamated he started excelling. I hope this is whats happening. He's a rookie and he'll be up and down all season, but he's improving and showing progession. Can't ask for much more at this point.

I'm glad hes stepping up, and playing like he did in college. I like him driving to the bucket rather than shooting jumpers only at the beginning of the season. What I don't understand is why Triano takes him out in the 4th quarter ...even if hes doing good.

I have always supported this kid, I mean even when he makes rookie mistakes the effort is there, and his mistakes even though he's a rookie are not as significant as Bargs who really shouldn't have any excuses by now.

He's going to be a force once the refs start giving him calls. Right now you can pull both of his arms behind his back while he's shooting and not draw a foul.

DD was amazing last night. He drove a lot and that's exactly what we need from him. He is getting to the FT line a lot too. I would say this was his best game considering we won this time

Didn't watch the game, but from the highlights it's looks like he finally wants to use his strengths and attack the basket. Did he shoot any jimmy's?

This kid better not settle and feel too comfortable. We need this from him every night, no excuses.

Missed both jumpshots he took in first half.
But the second one was a 3 drawn by Triano, played him wide open at the top, too bad it rimmed out.

Yeah he's playing with some balls, not afraid to get in to the lane and take a hit. His dribble looks a little better comapred to the start of the season. Still need some work though.
