Demar apparently improving his range

Don't think the 3pt line is NBA range, but still promissing if true. If he can even shoot 30% from 3 he can be much improved next season.

Hey, #Raptors fans: @NZbeFree is catching some Drew League action and he tells me @DeMar_DeRozan's 3 pt. stroke is looking clean.

That, handle, and defense are his biggest weaknesses. Good to hear he's trying to improve on some of his weaknesses.

thats some good news. this guy averages 17 a game from just his athleticism, if he adds the 3 point shot to his arsenal he would be deadly

When you can hit 3s, it's way easier for a crossover. Defense can't sag off, but must be in front of you every single second.

Great, as long as he doesn't rely on his 3-point shot. It's good once in a while to make sure the defence extends to the three point line, but he needs to remember what his strengths are.

If he works on that and his handles, and I mean really works on both of them, I can see him becoming a superstar. I would also like he improve his D, rebounding and assists but one step at a time I guess.

I think DeMar will end up being the 2nd best player of the 2009 draft class, with Blake being the first, of course.

he's a gymrat, so i expected him to improve on his range to keep the d honest, he's not an idiot and he hears what others say about his game and where he needs to improve... really looking forward to see him making major progressions like he did this past season, whenever it is that an NBA season starts back up again

Not a big fan of Evans, and while i really like Curry I'd still take Demar and Rubio over both.

I've only ever watched the Drew League highlights like this, but I'm getting the impression that like "All Star" games, there's lots of emphasis on offense and not much emphasis on defense. Is this true?

I still never understood how a professional basketball guard can't shoot 3's

though you're not a fan of evans, you cant hide the fact that this dude is going to be the point-forward of the future, especially when you average 20 5 and 5 in your rookie season
