Default Defense Vs. Bulls

29 points in one half is pretty damn good. I think this group is starting to come together, and start to take a little pride in defense and hustle. Sweet play from Derozan and Johnson on that aspect.

I think the story of the season so far has been Bosh's leadership and his maturity, and not his stats.

Major potential.

Column A: Good D.
Column B: Bulls fatigued.

IMO, a little of column A. And a lot of column B.

The only reason they scored 29 points in the second half is because they were tired. The fact is they had alot of open shots in the 4th quarter and all of them were short, a clear sign of fatigue. They shot 14% in the 4th, and that wasn't our defence alone. We certainly played better D in the second half, but i wouldn't exactly say that we've even come close to turning a corner. Long way to go.

yea we were still giving them a lot of open jumpers. they were just coming up short on them cause they didn't have their legs under their shots anymore.

I think that what we showed in the second half was what we could be. That's my opinion, and gut feeling

Definately was fatigue by the Bulls on the second night of a back to back. I think a bigger key then the defense was the fact that second shots were limited thanks in part to Demar and Amir.

Fatigue by the Bulls is how a pessimist looks at the situation. This is the NBA. No excuses.

And Amir and Demar, guys like that are absolutely crucial. We lack energy sometimes, and those guys played with incredible energy. I think that was the key.

Tonight against the Clippers, we need to have energy, effort and hustle from the first possession, and dominate them on the defensive end.

True that.

They were missing shots they really shouldn't have.

let's remember the bulls only averaged 88 pts a game coming into the game and it was a back-to-back game

really not that impressive for most teams, but for us? yeah it was impressive.

the turn around all started when DeMar got some playing time in the second half

we were also winning when he left in the first

Jay really needs to let him get the same amount of minutes that tyreke evans, brandon jennings, etc get.

im almost certain he hasnt even played more than 20 minutes in a game all season so far.
