Arrow Davis earns a spot on NBA.com's Rookie Ladder

Quote:
9. Davis, who didn't suit up for the Raptors until Dec. 1, had his best game yet Tuesday, and it came in a surprise win for Toronto. Playing in Dallas against one of the league's hottest teams (Mavs had won 17 of 18), Davis had career-highs with 17 points and 12 rebounds. He also blocked three shots and showed why the Raptors took the North Carolina big man at No. 13 in the Draft. This was Davis' second double-double (he had 10 and 10 Dec. 15 against the BUlls) and with the Raptors dealing with injuries (Andrea Bargnani, Reggie Evans and Sonny Weems, most notably), Davis could see his production increase and earn him a more secure spot on The Ladder.

considering he missed most of his sophomore year in college along with this season and most importantly training camp in his rookie year he has been doing a good job for the raps i truly feel the sky is the limit for davis and he can be an all-star in the future if he works hard.

He has a great work ethic and he's hungry!
For a rookie who was injured, missed training camp and missed almost a quarter of a season, being at number 9 on the rookie calendar is amazing.

He was projected to be top 5, glad we took him at 13!
