Bulls @ 6 isn't far fetched

Hawks @2 and Pacers @8 are head scratchers though. And imo the knicks will not win the Atlantic.

Then, they signed Lou Williams. How would that rank Atlanta #2 from East Conference?

I think Raptors is stronger than Atlanta this season for sure, and that would push Raps to 8th seed
ATL is better than TOR. 2nd seed better? No. But they'll finish somewhere between 6th and 8th.

They just have more talent .

the 5-8 teams are better than the 1-4 teams in each conference. Nuggets, T'wolves and Hawks as 3 of the 5 best teams

after reading this we should've got Al Horford. He can turn an 8 seed team to #2 in the east.

Which Raptor will have be the X-factor for the Raptors making the playoffs? - DailyTabla

'Which player on the Raptors current roster will be the x-factor need for the Raptors making the playoffs? Will it be Andrea Bargnani, Demar Derozan, Kyle Lowry, Jose Calderon and 2nd unit or Jonas Valanciunas? Which one of these or combination of these have to REALLY CLICK for the Raptors to make the playoffs." quote from the article

i really hope a few of these guys click and this team makes the playoffs this year. Looking forward to this team gel on the court after the way the handled NY last night

to me, it will be a challenge for some of this team to be in the playoffs :
nets will make a late push, because they are not ready yet.
and 76ers, maybe last season, but without bynum they don't have the power right now.

1. Heat

2/3. Indy
2/3. Bulls

4/5. Celtics
4/5. Kincks

after that i think it will be very open, and very competitve.

We could be in the mix. between 6-10
with NETS, 76ers, BUcks, Hawks and maybe detroit.
and after that you have washington and cleveland, whom could be the surprise this year.
Orlando and charlotte at the end of that.

Indiana did good last year. I don't see where they'd be worse. The Hawks stink, these people were high when they wrote this.

They want the Knicks to win so bad and (drool) meet L.A in the finals.. It's tremendously lucrative for them. Can't blame them for illogical pre-season ranking.. We're all biased when it comes to cash in our pockets.

IMO for us to make the playoffs 3 things have to happen-

1. Stay relatively healthy
2. Get off to a decent start with so many road games
3. Make a move by the trade deadline that adds to the talent level

i agree with the most part but i put the Knicks and Philidelphia lower than Brooklyn based on the talent and Andrew Bynums history of injuries

If we don't have any signficant injuries (eg. Bargs, JV, Lowry, ... ), we should be in the hunt for a playoff spot.
