Dwane’s discussing the end the first half, when three fouls on Uzoh and the fear of a third foul on Calderon forced him to use Gary Forbes at the point and the coach shows his Canadiana and, I’m sure, endears himself even more to the masses.

And broke up the post-game media session as we kind of giggled ourselves out of the room.

“He’s not a point guard as he showed right before halftime. You talk about emotions, that was probably the most emotion I’ve had this year; (I) was yelling ‘one shot, one shot’ and he went off trying to discover Canada … He went up to Winnipeg and over to Halifax and then he went to the hole.”

That’s a guy who knows how to play to his audience.

As for McGee.... did he ever come back in after being yanked for that idiotic salute?

He's like 7'4" saluting a dunk over a guy a foot shorter than him in the open court.... it's a bit rediculous. Regardless, did he get back into the game?

I didn't think the salute was ridiculous, I thought it was a sign of respect (to Jose) like they do in the army. Jose should be glad that a young player from another team like McGee respects him, as every night he gets disrespected because of his defense.

umm, nope.

mcgee does the salute when he thinks hes finished a highlight play. its more of a "i just made you look like a bitch" salute.

Yeah, of course he did. Must have been the mullet and the visor that sold it.

The real difference between Jagr and McGee is the Jagr is an elite, sure shot hall of famer, I can't say the same for McGee. Reiterating what one of the other guys said, Calderon is tiny compared to McGee, I'm pretty sure he wasn't trying to block him.
