The tryout will begin at 9:00 am on Saturday the 25th, in the main gym at 610 E. 42nd Street, Boise, ID 83714.

Open tryouts offer athletes an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of Stampede coaching staff, including head coach Bryan Gates. Players will compete to earn an invitation to the Stampede’s official Training Camp, which is scheduled to begin November 14.

During the 07-08 open player tryouts, both Ernest Scott and Jason Ellis earned a spot on the Stampede roster. Scott played in 40 games with the Stampede, averaging 7.9 points per game and 3.5 rebounds. Ellis, a former BSU standout played in 37 games averaging 5.4 points per game and 5.1 rebounds.

“This is such an invaluable opportunity for our team,” said Stampede Head Coach, Bryan Gates. “It is the perfect way to fill our roster for the upcoming season.”

Applicants must be eligible to play in the NBA Development League and may pre-register by submitting the official registration, disclosure, and release forms, along with a $150fee. The fee increases to $200 on the day of camp. Payments may be made by cash, cashier’s check or credit card.

Any questions regarding the camp should be address to the Idaho Stampede Basketball Office at 208-573-1418. Players will also have the option to receive hotel discounts both in Toronto and Boise during their stay. At the Boise camp, shuttle service will be provided to and from the hotel and gym.

Registration forms and waivers are available at www.idahostampede.com or the Idaho Stampede office, located at 233 S. Capitol Blvd., Suite 100, Boise, Idaho 83702.
