Default Contract options.

To start off this thread isn't who, why or when a player should go!It also isn't an opinion thread how affects players are or a player bash thread.

I am just curious how would you move a contract like Hedos? Bargnani? Jose? Banks? ( High prices contract with less productive seasons then expected)

Also how do you play a Bosh contract. Can he sign with another team even if Toronto matches the offer?

-"Can he sign with another team even if Toronto matches the offer?" - This would only be a issue if he was a restricted free agent, since he is not Bosh can sign with any team he wants to. The only thing that might benefit the Raptors is if the team he wants cannot afford his max deal, then they would send us back players and another assets to make the S&T

-As for those contracts i can only see them moving if a team is pushing for the playoffs and thinks one of them might benefit them or the team is young and desperate for some veteran leadership. But to be honest those contract have too many years left on them to be moving for at least 2 seasons.

A guy like Jose is tradable to a team like the Lakers.
Likely trade Jose for Walton and Farmar. Farmar can be waved?
Walton is not much of an iffensive threat but strong defensively and can rebound.
Doesn't demand the ball.

Hedo will be packaged with Bosh unless Jose gies and a different pg comes back

Ellis/Harris/Hinrich woul all fit well with Hedo.

in a Bosh deal anyone could be added.

Hahahah, ya sure. so your going to trade Bosh (max 18 million dollars next year) + hedo 10 million. So we are somehow going to be able to trade 28 million worth of salary in the off season, I dont think so

He meant those players would play well with Hedo on the Raptors...

Not that He would be included in the deal...

yup can happen easily.

Again I'll use an example.

Deng, hinrich, Johnson, TPE(about 6 million

Bosh and Hedo

Chicago is still almost 20 millionunder cap to go after Wade or JJ.

Rose
Wade
Hedo
Bosh
Noah

Toronto starts reloading, move hinrich/tpe/banks/evans/DDR for some big bodies.

eg: Iggy and Sammy D for TPE, Banks, Hinrich, DDR

Jose/Jack
Iggy/Beli
Deng/Weems
Bargs/Amir
Sammy D/Rasho

MLE left to use on depth

But how can yo trade 2 players for 4? Don't you have to drop 2 players from your existing roaster or as soon as you trade for them?

My other question is what is the easier way to move a player like Hedo? Alone or with Bargnani or Jose?

I see it very complicated to get 3 teams like stated above involved in such a trade because Sixer lose 2 skilled player for one proven player, a floater player with a big contract, and one rookie with decent upside.

Like my main question is if that trade was to go down. What would be the instant benefits, and long term for each team. Aside from Chicago who becomes ones of the best team in the east.

not if you have the room on your roster

for toronto there is a much better blend of talent and playing styles with both outside, inside and midrange offensive games.

Defense improves DRAMTICALLY with Iggy and Deng on the wings and Sammy D down low.

Philly sheds alot of salary, makes room for Speights to start, Hinrich can play either pg or sg and Demar has loads of potential.
