Leave Lowry off but leave other expirings on is one sided. And are you asking better today or just better core that you would like as a gm for today and tomorrow? Can I include Bostons 6 first round picks in 3 years and NYK 1 pick or does that just get left out? Does Rose get included when hes never going to be the saem again? What if their 5 players cap them out and oursa add up to half?

The exclusion of lowry is ridiculous

The definition of core in terms of future or right now impact is way too vague

The OP has a ridiculous bias towards tanking

our roster value goes way up in to 16-18 range because of Jonas and ross, they've proved they can play, there not consistent yet but they will be, probably sooner than later, add that to young veteran core in amir, demar and lowry if he sticks

we have the knicks pick, and our own picks, masai is a proven mid range drafter which is difficult to select players in that area, so our roster will only get better

I'm more positive about our future than I was two years ago, and demar has been a nice surprise, all the things I didn't like about him he has fixed and shown growth and willingness to get better every year

I've been anti demar since the 1st season even though I liked his game at usc, but now he has become a player I want to see on this roster in the future, guys like lowry, amir, and derozan offer and consistency to young developing players like Jonas and ross who need that

Might have been someone who read the poll wrong and thought the core was ranked 22nd-24th.

I hope it is, that's the only reasonable explanation.

How am I supposed to interpret this? Which cores are currently better than the Raptor's core or which cores are more attractive to build around looking 3 or more years down the road?

Also the poll question was phrased "the Raptors core is better than how many" but the explanatory text had the question reversed "how many cores are better than the Raptors" so you might not get the concrete answer you want.
