convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

Not sure when he's up for renewal, but he'll certainly be extended in my opinion or his vision of this team was all for not if he was to give up now.

I think you got it wrong ... it's not a matter of us giving him another contract (no-brainer), is him wanting to stay. He will most likely make some demands, probably a guarantee that he can go over the luxury tax if needed. He will explain to the board that unless we are willing to spend big, we run the chance of losing Bosh in 2010.

I think it will be do or die for the Raptors. If Colangelo gets his way, we might be looking at a great future past 2010. And Bryan has two major weapons to fight the board: his contract and CB4's. Maybe that's why we're pushing so hard now to get a good record and make the argument to the board that we are a borderline contender. Who knows ...

I really can't see BC starting something and leaving after 3-4 years.I would bet he gets a 3-4 year extension and he stays.Plus MLSE will try everything to keep him imo. But then again......

Oh, and i believe that next season is the last year of his current contract.I think it was a 4 year deal which started in March of 06. which means it's up probably and the end of next season.
