Colangelo Will Return Next Season and Beyond

From Adnan Virk

Quote:
He has an option after this season ends which is not his own but told me that everything he's been told by the bosses is that it will be picked up and Colangelo will return for next season and beyond. As he‘s said many times, he’s committed to building a winner in Toronto and on the basketball side of things, business is operating well.

great news for the prospect of pulling off deals... because no owners let a GM have the necessary freedom to deal if they don't believe in and fully support him. Bring it home BC!

Love it

This team can only be successful with a Respected and "All-star" Caliber (if you wanna call it that) GM like Brian Colangelo

If Bosh knows Colangelo is committed to Toronto i'd say he'd be way more inclined to stay here.

This is awesome. He is an amazing Gm and if he left I would be scared of who we would get in return

If it is true, it is good news. Perhaps it is a bit dramatic to say this, but letting Colangelo go would've been one of the greatest mistakes this franchise would have made thus far in its history. As a Raptors fan, it is good to know that BC is committed and that MLSE recognizes talent.

Idk if any of you caught this on one of the games in the last week, but before the game started, Leo Rautins, Matt Devlin and all them were talking about the interview that took place with Bosh and Colangelo. Colangelo was asked if he had any intention of moving Bosh, and his answer was clear, he was going to do everything it took to keep Bosh in T.O. And Bosh was asked if he wanted to be moved, and he responded with, "No, no, no, no..." and that hes likes it in T.O.
So, unless the two were jsut BSing for the cameras, then I say you could forget about Bosh being moved ^^, well at least I am.
