Exclamation Colangelo on Turkoglu situation: "Time has a way of healing things"

Quote:
Colangelo also wouldn't rule out keeping Turkoglu.

"Time has a way of healing things." Colangelo said when asked if Turkoglu could still return to Toronto despite publicly stating he wants out. "Whether or not we move him will be based on whether or not there's a deal there that we feel makes some sense for our team.

"All the uncertainty would lead you to believe there's a lot of balls in the air, a lot of trade discussions happening right now. How the roster looks today, it's going to look entirely different I'm sure a few weeks from now when it all plays out. If it's the same, we have a lot of talent."

oh let me guess, nothing but Okafor and Brand offer's for the burden they call Hedo

I guess i won't complain too much if Hedo stays so long as he doesn't play and take valuable minutes and touches away from players that actually have a future in this league

More shifting of the perspective for possible trade partners. The last thing he wants is to look desperate.

With Bosh and Jose gone Hedo can be a MUCH more effective player.

So the "franchise talents" of Bargs & Hedo would lead this team into the playoffs and on to the promised land?

Pardon me while I go vomit.

did I say that at all?

And you should go vomit, the more you vomit the less nonsense you type.

Maybe it logical to state that having a ball dominate pg is not conductive to having a sf who like to set up plays.

Maybe having a pf that starts all his stuff from 18-20 away from the basket being the main guy on offense is not conductive to a sf who like to set up 18-20 feet away from the basket and control the offense.

Yeah, well there was also a few of us that hated the JO deal as well. But let's face it 11 months ago BC was being praised here. Now those moves and players are looked at as crap and nobody is tradeable, the sky is falling, nobody wants our players......and oh yeah, let's get Arenas?!?

BC is the man! He will turn it around. Sure he has made some bad moves but he has quickly traded them on for good vets, Marion etc, But he has also made some sweet moves bringing in Weems + Johnson for Ukic + Delfino!! what a trade that was for the Raptors + he drafted Demar Derozan who is going to be a great player in a few years

so give the guy some credit.

All Haters need to get off his back because you probably couldnt do any better thats why he is in the job and your not, but im sure he will get it right this year.... i hope anyway

Yeah I know, add to it that Bosh cant be surrounded by decent players, seems to me all the peices that we added were more than decent at the time of their signings/trades.

i think he should be dealt. i really don't think he wants to play here. we give him the multi-year contract he desired and this is the shit he pulls out on us? ship his ass out of here.

Yeah and you are so critical of BC. Do we need to have a douche-off to settle things?

I completely don't get your point Jeff. BC got praise for being able to add a lot of depth along with Turkoglu. There was a lot of happiness about JJ and Beli and Amir and even some sense of being able to look forward to seeing what Weems amounted to. When it came down to the Turkoglu signing, the initial reaction was quite negative. You might want to revisit this thread, and then stop making shit up that doesn't matter anyway.

Unofficial: Hedo to sign with the Raptors (Updated Pg. 8)

The signing was an obvious failure, and nothing changes that.

You accusing ME of typing "nonsense" is high comedy.

Maybe when you have a ball dominant PG and a PF who "starts all his stuff 18-20 ft away from the basket" you shouldn't bring in a SF who wants the ball in his hands 24/7.... esp. when he comes into camp out of shape.
