In past years 2 teams were prominent in trying to pry Nash away from Phx. Portland and Toronto but Roy, Aldridge, Bosh were never offered

Despite all the rumors the Phoenix Suns have no intentions to trade Steve Nash and are not even considering it.

Bet the Blazers wish they had offered Roy now.

If Barkley came out of retirement, Colangelo would be calling.

I agree... nobody would have made a bosh-centric team a winner so it was pointless.

not sure what you're agreeing with. This was a bosh-centric team precisely because of all the nobodies.

was just being cheeky..... you know my opinion on that already already.

I don't think Nash two seasons ago would have been a bad thing though.... certainly wouldn't equate Nash with Barkley.

I wasn't equating anybody. I was illustrating how unshocking it was to have Colangelo inquire about any Sun player or former Sun player, let alone Nash. You cheeky bastard.

Good lord. There's a thread already up about wanting Nash here, now it comes out that Colangelo's been trying to land him and he's criticised for it. Wow!

If Nash was here 2 years ago Bosh would have seen two rounds in the playoffs. He's an incredible guard.

Its too bad.

Ah well.... Ballard said no to having Gretzky in his prime, crazier things have happened Hell, Boston traded Ruth.

Psh. Colangelo.

Don't worry, guys. Nash is my SuperAwesomeBestFriend on Twitter. When I offer promises of cookies and chocolate milk, he'll be here in no time. Cuda's on it.

If nobody wants a 36 year old Nash, why would a 34 year old Nash be any better?

BC would not have been offering Bargnani, so we'd probably still be stuck giving up a ton of points with a big man tandem of Bosh and Bargnani.

And I imagine Phoenix hung up the phone when they realized BC was only offering DeRozan.

I'm pretty certain BC would have offered alot more than DD.

I mention DD as the main piece. Obviously he'd throw in Jose and whoever else to make salaries work. I just know BC would not have traded Bargnani. Phoenix could have anyone but Bosh and Bargnani.

He would be foolish to have traded Bargnani. Nash and Bosh alone wouldn't have been enough to compete. 7 footers with skill are far too rare. I'm sure many on here would rather have Brendan Haywood than Bargnani... lol
