Colangelo to meet with the team tomorrow

Who wouldn't love to be a fly on the wall in that locker room?

Quote:
It's true that the season is still young and that Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo made a preemptive plea for patience before it began, citing the difficulty of melding nine new faces into a unit. But if the Raptors are the worst defensive team in the league by some measures, they're also, suddenly, a not-so-potent offensive force. And if they appear to be a squad on the verge of a competitive breakthrough to your eyes, you're seeing it differently than a lot of residents of the locker room.

Chris Bosh had this to say on Wednesday night: "You look at the past few games. We've been outworked in every aspect. We don't get on the ground. We don't consistently get rebounds. We give up a lot of points in the paint. No coverage is good for us. We're just not a good team."
Quote:
Those words won't be comforting to Colangelo, who is scheduled to meet the Raptors in Washington D.C. before Friday's game against the Wizards. The GM's off-season moves, after all, were designed to make Bosh feel good about Toronto's talent pool given the all-star's option to become an unrestricted free agent this coming summer.

Colangelo needs to put the hammer on this team. First start off with Jose and Iavaroni then Bargnani Triano and Turkoglu.

<3 BC!!!

and for BC preseason comments - about Beli 6th man, aim 50 wins, etc. what do you guys EXPECT again? him to say, noooo we will barely fight for a playoff spot, we suck, we have holes, etc etc. his job esp pre season is to hype up the fans, get them excited, sell tickets, of course he's goign to try to paint the most optimistic view possible, doesn't matter if he believes it or not. doesn't mean he's an idiot and he should get blamed like crazy (how would he know these guys will suck THAT badly, we all I think agree the talent on this team is underperforming big time)

For fuck man, Bosh really has to grow a sack of nuts man beucase he is the softest player on the team (full of euro players). Really there needs to be someone out there giving commands, rallying when the going is good and churpin when the going gets tough

please, explain to me how Bosh is softer then any of these euro's on the squad. Rebounds, points in the paint, FT's, seriously Bosh need's to just bolt right now because of delusional shit like this coming from the fans. Give you all that giant dose of Bargnani that you've been craving so much, pansy ass non rebounding jumpshooter

Farewell bosh, flourish somewhere else you are not to blame

+1.

He'll go to MIA, join Wade and then spend the next 5-8 years going to the EC finals against ORL.... and perhaps beyond.

If we're looking at Bargs as our franchise player at this time next year I may seriously have to reconsider supporting this team.

First off i never said he wasent a good player, i said he was soft. You know how Bosh is soft. When pierce makes a joke out of him he says and does nothing , the next game vs the suns Amre thows him to the ground again for a flagrent 2 and he still does nothing........S O F T.....that spells soft ass player

mitchell didnt take shit... anytime Bargnani wanted to play that soft european shit, mitch got in that ass... we need an ass getter inner...

if triano has a problem with you , he prob wants to discuss it over some coffee, bagels and the national post on king street while some hipster dofus live band jams out with a mellow bass, guitar duet...

Yah I agree just like last year when he finally hit a game winning shot, be it after that Raps had already missed the playoffs, it looked like he kinda got a monkey off his back....He needs to get T'd up! fight for him self & his team...

He really looks like he is just trying to get his numbers at this point...Cause when the ball goes into him it very seldom come back out, even when the defence is all over him.

& I was saying before that this team just needed to play some defence & I still stand behind that...If not Bosh will get traded before the deadline.

I'd support Avery as coach of this team. He's a winner at this level, he's taken his team to the finals as a coach, has a COTY Award, he's won a championship as a player and he can motivate his teams - something that this team is lacking. He would be a great leader for this team. Problem is, does he want to coach the Raptors or does he want to stay in the broadcast booth?

he's broadcasting? first time I heard that
since he's still getting paid by Cuban (till 2011) I think he'll look for the perfect opportunity to coach
I don't know if the present day Raps offer that

coach change = season down the drain

just a philosophy change would be enough

FFS just a little experimenting with the lineup and benching of players who are not showing effort is enough
