Colangelo Inquired With Phoenix Regarding Amare

Bosh has missed the last two games with a sprained knee and his future in Toronto, beyond 2010 - when he becomes a free agent - is up in the air. So Toronto might be forced to get something for him. Detroit has been linked to Bosh in 2010, so it's entirely possible that the Pistons will try to make it a three-way deal. Detroit's Tayshaun Prince is being mentioned as one of the primary players who would end up with the Suns.

God, just do it already. Make sure you include JO for a quality swingman in a 3 way or something
3 bigmen=no.

Amare is a good player, but he is also a serious asshole, who would bolt IMMEDIATELY whenever his contract allowed it.

So if he's only coming as part of something much bigger in the grand scheme of things, fine, but if BC is bringing him in as an actual player for the future. He's insane.

BC knows his stuff. Hey, maybe their relationship could make Amare a part of this team

hahahah, from what i hear amare is not the kind of player you want on your team. Right now he is blaming anyone he can on the suns for their subpar play. Screw amare, get a good wing. The only thing that will happen with trading Bosh with amare is we will have a PF thats is not as good as Bosh and still have a huge O at the wing.

What I don't get is if are to include Bosh in a deal why on earth would we need Detroit?? We can deal directly with Phoenix, right.
I know Bosh is better than Amare but the killer Bs are soft we have to have at least one front court player that has some toughness. I would go with that deal if we can include Kapono for Barbosa. If we can then trade JO for Marion we would have something.

Maybe we want to deal directly with Detroit? That point, I'd ask for both Rip and Tayshaun coming back our way with someone like Affalo included.

I cant agree he is a better player if he is inconsistant. Bosh pretty much always gets more then 20ppg. He is the most consistant player we have right now. Bargs since he started starting is also very consistant only having 1 or 2 bad games out of 20. I can say the consistnacy is much more valuable then having a flashier player. They are however pretty close stats wise but Bosh has more pp rpg apg. Amare does have better shooting % but that could be beucase nash is lobing assists all over the palce.

I dont think we want to trade Bosh for Amare. We're taking a step back in the same direction lol. Either trade Bosh and make a more drastic change for our team..

or try to trade Bargs and other stuff to get amare.

Jesus you guys are dense sometimes. What has Amare done that Bosh hasn't already? If anyone says anything regarding going deeper in the playoffs well take a look at the talent that was surrounding Amare and then look at who Bosh is playing with. Nuff said.

A Bosh for Amare deal takes us nowhere. If anything, Phoenix gets better and we remain shit.

If Bosh wants to leave in 2010, doesn't this make him "a serious asshole, who would bolt IMMEDIATELY whenever his contract allowed it" candidate?
I don't think BC wants to part with CB4, is the other way around and Colangelo is trying to get the best out of it. Probably "a serious asshole" would be better than an unhappy dogging CB4 which anyways decided already to bolt.

I dont know though...those players are only good because of the chemistry over years and years together they've had, I dont really follow the pistons or any team in the league besides the Raptors to be honest but: Detroit's been subpar with no Billups, I know that much, how have rip and tayshaun even played? are there numbers down? I dont know if they'd fit in Toronto...
