i don't know i think he is, i don't watch that much college basketball though so i can't say im a expert

but i know he can shoot, he can fly, and he has a good attitude and will go work hard and improve, 40 inch vertical, also top 5 volleyball player in the states, might be a good pick up at 9

i could be wrong too

you are wrong at picking him at 9
if you want him the best thing would be to trade down in the draft (18-24) and get rid of Banks or Kap in the process

Here's a tip. When you start describing a basketball player on volleyball attributes and combine numbers, you know you're on thin ice. Joey Graham has a sick vertical, killer max bench, great lateral quicks, awesome speed, and tremendous overall athleticism. His explosion off the second jump among the top in the league. But so what?

As for Budinger, he's a 3 year college player who is solid but unspectacular. He's improved a little bit every year. He may turn into an ok rotation player, but his ideal NBA position projects to be the 3; unless he becomes an incredible defensive player, he's going to be handling guys like LeBron James and some of the recent big, quick 3's (like Thaddeus Young) night in and night out. While Chase has very solid athleticism, he isn't very strong or powerful. I think he'll be a decent-to-good backup at best.

What would you guys think if we somehow ended with #2.

Would Rubio be the easy choice? Have him develop under JC? The kid has monster talent...
Or would you rather BC trade down to acquire something more?

I'd kind of be shitting my pants if I had the #2 pick this draft. Rubio is insanely talented, but I'm still not sold on his longterm durability. He's always got a hand taped up these days.

Still, he's got the size (6'4) and skill to be an awesome PG. He has a dirty behind the back dribble move that gets him by absolutely anyone in Europe. Shooting is a little bit suspect. He's got a killer instinct though.

Griffin is definitely a slam dunk at #1, though IMO.

If we get the 2nd pick I would trade it to get a good SG because our PG spot is already filled

it's amazing that around draft time everybody becomes a college scout with abundents of info on ppl, when most of you are going on 2nd and 3rd hand info.... this is why i keep outta these discussions, continue on

If you keep out of these discussions then why bother posting that you aren't a so called "college scout" in a thread full of these "scouts" in the first place?

Depends who gets the #1 pick.

I could definately see Sactown taking Rubio if they get the 1.

I believe I've only seen one mock draft out of 20 or 30 who have picked Rubio to go #1.

A rumor that has been gaining steam is that the Knicks will select Stephen Curry with their 8th pick. We've received word that there could be truth to this from inside sources claiming that Curry chose to put his name into the draft this year based on the Knicks assuring Curry that they would use their lottery selection to draft him.

Obviously a lot could happen between now and the draft. The Knicks could always win the lottery (they're not using a top 3 pick on him) or trade their pick.

But it appears to be a legitimate possibility that if the Knicks have the 8th pick on draft night they will use it on Curry. Curry's game would fit extremely well in Mike D'Antoni's wide open style and his scoring ability would be enhanced.

This is excellent news for the Raptors as most mock draft had the Knicks taking a wing like DeRozen or Clark.

The Knicks need another big man. They'd be smart to package Al Harrington and Nate Robinson, because they're not going anywhere with a tweener at the four and a 3 foot punk-ass midget coming off the bench.

Well he's only making somewhere in the neighbourhood of 3 million next year, so you're getting pretty good bang for your buck. Trade or no trade in 2010, Nate Robinson will learn VERY quickly that he's not worth the money he thinks he deserves.

Actually they're about to lose Nate Robinson and he needs to be replaced. I would think that's the priority.

The Kings are going to be on him faster than Butterbean is on a chocolate dip in a donut eating contest.

LOL nice analogy

BTW Nate is a good player but I think his ego is too high. He acts like an ass half the time. I thinkhe'll fit in nicely in Boston LOL
