would people here complain if Colangelo traded the pick in a sign and trade for Deandre Jordan?

If we dropped to #5 or 6, no I wouldn't complain.

I wouldn't complain, though the Clips wouldn't want a pick in this draft. They traded their pick to Cleveland out of disgust of this draft's choices even before Jones and Barnes decided to stay back.

Good point.

Although I think they were more desperate to get rid of Baron Davis. I mean come on, taking Jamario Moon?

Never read anywhere the Clips were 'disgusted' with this years draft lmao. That had more to do with getting rid of Davis.

hell no i wouldn't complain. but no way the clippers do it
they got pretty much all the positions down
pg - mo williams and bledsoe
sg - eric gordon
sf - they might want to give aminu some burn instead of drafting derrick williams and have 2 youngster fighting for minutes. that isn't the smartest way to go and he was their lottery pick last year so might as well properly develop him
pf - blake
c - kaman and jordan (which is why they won't trade their future C and trading him away would cause a void)

Yeah that's why they did it..

This is the Clippers afterall, not exactly that forward thinking. Plus, show me where it stated they were so disgusted about anything besides Baron Davis' gut.

Aminu should get lots of burn since the Clips don't have a pick. Besides, Moon needs time too

Here you go, Doc:

Cavaliers Trade Mo Williams To The Clippers For Baron Davis

Quote:
The Clippers happily parted with their first round pick because, as one source told ESPN, they think this year's draft is awful. Los Angeles will also shed the remaining two years and $28 million of Baron Davis' contract.

Well let me re-phrase it, they're just not pleased with the draft. Here's your link, go nuts.

"And I'm not that high on the draft to begin with this year."
I think that's a translation for "this draft sucks balls"

edit:thanks northern neighbour.

lets worry about who we draft later, let's secure the first pick before being picky.
