Hope so also because you don't want to hear guys like Derozan saying they believe in him and then see him walk out the door.

Unlike players where it is more of a what have you done for me lately, I'm more willing to look at the sum of his record. The focus is different now than appeasing Chris Bosh and so far it's not too bad. I also like that he is able to reverse any situation the team gets into.

If Colangelo goes maybe we can get a GM with a better idea how to run a team. If he stays maybe he can get his shit together and build a winner. Either way, i think our chances of having a good team in the future are about the same.

if there is a sale of MLSE it is most likely going to rogers.

if bc is going out i hope our next GM is charlies barkley, he would yell @ his draft pick if they ever became like cousins.

he'd be a terrible GM, the guy does not know how to build a team
if your criteria for selecting a GM is that he will yell at someone if they have a bad attitude then your priorities are all wrong

I've been harsh on Colangelo but this teams future is looking brighter and brighter. We have a 20 ppg centre a good defensive power forward and a second year wing player averaging 16 a game. We might have 2 two point scorers along with an athletic defensive minded big. And a great backup point guard. We just need a little bit more luck and experience.

I hope BC is staying, doesn't the MLSE want him to stay and BC wants to stay? At this point, he's been doing well for rebuilding this team. As I said, let him finish what he started.

Calangelo said he wants this team to be a player in free agency. He's got some stiff competition in the superteams, where players will play for less money, but also a team like NJ must move quickly to sign free agents while Deron is there because guys might want to play with him.....and to appease him and maybe make him want to stay.

What interview? I haven't been visiting the forums for a while so I need to get all caught up...

Ammo said that BC doesn't have to appease him now. I was questioning whether that actually happened, and if so how? Did BC dress up like Neville Chamberlain and shake hands with Bosh dressed up like Hitler? It sounds kinky.

I heard Colangelo did that and more for Bosh.

Let me clean that up a bit....maybe part appease and part build around Bosh. He did want Bosh to stay put. That type of star player plan does not apply anymore. Let's get a (winning) Detroit Pistons warrior style of team instead of a Bosh/LeBron and a bunch of other guys plan.

As for what influence Bosh may have had, I don't know if I want to say what I really think that was.....or maybe I should because this board is all about opinions, but I'll say this....when certain guys left town, Bosh seemed more than content to see them go.
