I ask all of the fans pro winning this year, are you happy now you got some morale wins during the season? Does it mean a lot to you now?

I cant believe we're slated 8th. What a joke.

Without the stupid useless wins against Atlanta and Boston and by tanking the last game we could have been 2nd ...

The worst part of those wins against Boston and Atlanta is that they weren't even nice wins, but rather wins against teams playing terribly amidst a shit schedule bog. Toronto shot 23 percent in the first quarter against Boston. It never should have been close.

It's embarrassing that we didn't trade the pick months ago! Oh well, at least we can draft another PF this way.

I don't think drafting at the # 8 position vs. the # 5 position will make a huge difference as history has shown, whoever the Raptors draft will likely have minimal impact to the team over the next few seasons. The light at the end of the tunnel is that Cleveland had the 8th. pick last year and ended up winning the lottery with 2.8% odds. What are the odds the Raptors can do it.......impossible odds to duplicate happen 2 years in a row!

Didn't the Raptors have the 8th spot when they won the lottery as well?

I've said this before, but this is the year - and even moreso, if we do not move up in the draft lottery - to trade down in this, and pick up someone in the late lottery, or even somewhere else in the teens, while picking up additional assets.

I think we have a lot of pieces, and depending on workouts, etc, I think they'll be some decent players later in the first round, and we would do well to pick up a vet, along with a lower salaried player while maintaining flexibility.

As I've said before, now that we've dropped, I wouldn't even mind trading down (while picking up some assets), and then trading down or out again after that. You rarely see this in the NBA draft, but see it all of the time, in the NFL draft, and other leagues' drafts too.

orlando won the lottery twice in a row, one time with very small odds and I may be wrong, but I think I heard on the radio recently that edmonton won the lottery for the third time in a row?

in any case, it's completely irrelevant what happened in the past, bottom line is we have a chance in 35 to win it, so we'd have to get pretty lucky

if we don't move up, it will be pretty sad, but ultimately who knows, the consensus is that the only true superstar in this draft is davis, so it may not make that much of a difference if we draft 8th or 5th.

When I was playing 2k12, the commentator says there have been many solid picks at #8 - Rudy Gay, Clark Kellogg, etc.

Hope 2k12 = reality
