It would for Bosh, he gets pushed around easily in crucial moments and needs to add bulk (a lot of it would be from the chest)
Bench press helped a lot of players (Malone, LJ, Shaq, Howard, Lebron, the list goes on and on and on) The bench press even helped Bargnani bulk up last year. |

Considering they had guards that were unable to even make an entry pass, I can't see how alley oops have much to do with his ability to finish on the receiving end.

He doesn't have any trouble dunking, so I won't trust you on that one. But I agree that good wheels will help him defensively all-around, not just in terms of jumping. Moon could jump and that hurt his defense more than helped it. Bosh needs to strengthen those legs to help him stay fresh longer, avoid injury and be able to control more space on a horizontal plane. He does plenty vertically.
So can anyone note how good his legs look in terms of improved strength? |
