does he need to average exactly 10 rpg? Why is that a mandatory thing with you?

We'll see if he's gonna be a multiple all-star, but Bosh had a better supporting cast and was force-fed touches while here. It's really a poor comparison to focus on.

You're making more work for me, Clutch. Good thing I've got nothing better to do today.

I'm not saying he's better than Bosh, yet.
By this I mean Bosh has the accolades. He's got the All-Star nominations, and the play-off appearances, and has been named to the All-NBA teams (oh wait, no he hasn't ). Andrea is finally starting to look like the player Colangelo visioned when he chose him 1st overall. I think that as he continues to grow, he will start to get those same accolades as well. So he's a late bloomer, who cares?

Quote:
CB was a great, great player for us, I won't deny that. But give me the choice of building around Bosh or Bargnani, I'll take Bargs. But to each their own.
He was a great player. I'd be hard-headed not to admit that, he was our franchise player and helped get us back into the play-off scene, if only for a few years. But I like what Andrea brings to the table more than what Bosh does. I think Andrea is more suited to be the franchise player than Bosh, his talent and unorthodox play-style is tough for teams to guard.

Quote:
I'd much rather have him being the first option rather than Bosh, especially when the game is on the line.
Yup. Nothing to argue here. In my opinion, Andrea has more offensive weapons than Bosh.

Quote:
And wouldn't "Who would you rather have" or "Who's the better fit for this team" be the same as who is the better player? Why wouldn't you take the better player? Why would you choose the lesser player to play for our team?
I think Andrea is the better player, so I'd rather have him on my team. Is there something wrong with that?

I'm not stupid, panda.
As far as I know, I'm not.

I've always been a Bargs supporter, this week just proved to me that persistence pays off.

So after one week you're ready to pat yourself on the back and declare Bargs better than Bosh? Nice.

Butler had a good game last night. Maybe we should put up a poll asking if he's better than Durant.

Bosh/Bargs are both roughly the same age, with Bargs now in his 6th season and Bosh has clearly had a better career. Until that changes dramatically it is what it is.

Why is it so crazy to think Bargs might finally have surpassed Bosh in terms of talent wise? Is it really the same as comparing Butler and Durant?

Bosh has clearly had the better career so far. Many because he was thrust into the franchise role in only his sophomore season, while Andrea had to play under CB's shadow up until last year. There is a lot of career left for both players. Andrea still has time to show that he is an elite player, only time will tell which one had the better career at the end of the day.

Not the same no, duh. But yes, it is crazy because a week ago it wouldn't have been even thought of. Don't you think you're jumping the gun a little here? Bargs has a ton of skill especially at the offensive end, but to say that now he's surpassed Bosh is just premature at this point. How about we revisit this in April? Hell, April 2013 for that matter. Until Bargnani can be consistent for a season or two, for me there's no debate.

bargs as always started strong. he's always played his best ball at the start of the season and sucked the rest of the way. only difference here is the team is playing better.

Wait, so life is easy for Bosh because of all the attention Wade and Lebron get, but life was tough for Andrea because of all the attention Bosh got?

Bosh's Raptors number were inflated because he was the go to guy for us and our only good offenseve option, but Andrea's numbers shouldn't be taken too seriously until he becomes our only decent offenseive option?
